Why is Orlando having a Pro Summer League? Who is going to play in it for Orlando? All the Magic's guys are vets now, and they don't have any draft picks.

Oh, I've got it. . . .Dante and Galante want to do their Internet broadcasts again.

I mean, it can't hurt. Someone will have to spend money on hotel rooms and air travel to Orlando so it might give a very short-term boost to the economy.

In part I agree. Lee WILL NOT play as a scond year player.

But, the Magic look to trade/buy a second round pick. And the magic certainly will sign both undrafted rookies and a couple D-leaguers. Usually, the magic bring in about six guys and two will probably make the team.

As a point of comparison: Jeremy Richardson and Mike Wilks made the team.

Thinking about it, Jeremy Richardson might be on the team again.

Jeremy Richardson would be decent if he could just get some steady playing time. I like the idea of Orlando hosting it because then we can see what possible second rounders or D-Leaaguers are worth looking at.

Kinda OT but anyone got any idea what is going on with Milokan Rakovic? I thought he was a decent prospect and that is the reason we traded for him.

Could this be the year Franny V dominates the summer league?

^^^I doubt it. We'll probably throw in Bo, Air Pat, Chewing, and Nick (and Mr. I Like Our Team) to fill out the roster.

Although seriously, Bo would again average a triple-double.

Garrity would average a pentuple-double. Pts, asts, rebs, stls, and blocks.

Well its always good to test potential training camp invites who can be potential pick ups [like Richardson for us], and also gives you a chance to see other young guys and get easy scouting done [oh hey its right down the road...] rather than travelling all over the shop.

I do see us buying a pick this year [I think its been said somewhere aswell?] so I am sure we'll have at least 1 offical Magician.
