When I saw this thread I thought about this convo with Devin Harris on ESPN radio, Harris talks about Lee/D12/FAs to Magic possibly.

The first six of the 8 minutes is all about magic talk.

That interview kinda got me excited about potential FAs, especially when you hear a player like him talking about that....but the thing is, the magic won't have the cap space to sign them (other than MLE) so it would have to be sign/trade.

I dont think the magic need another all-star player just a good role player. I've been a fan of Udonis Haslem, I think he could be a perfect fit at PF.

I like Haslem as well, but McDyess is also another good option. Or even Brandon Bass

I wonder.. In a sign and trade where the team doesn't really want to trade their player(Wade) but they know he will leave anyway otherwise.. can the team(Heat) say they will sign and trade him(Wade), but NOT trade him after signing him?

They have to trade him, it's in the rules.
