Going to war for your country is a choice or obligation. Playing professional ball is a privilege.

so time to ship Iggy off and suck. Good run but Now the draft won't suck anymore.

I mean, Gilchrist is great and all, but that kid is an absolute freak of nature.

Gilchrist is a great defender, but still needs to find his offensive game. He would benefit from a 2 year college ruling. I think after his Sophomore year, he would be unstoppable.

Biggest question with Drummond is his motor. He can coast at times.

I saw Gilchrist 3 times in person. Absolutely love him as a top prospect. Not sure he's a #1 option, but his defense is going to be outstanding.

Yeah, I didn't see much of Drummond mention in 2012 draft.. I mean, he will be in 2012 draft?? And he probably will be no. 1-3 pick? Right?

If your talented enough, why can't playing professional ball a choice?

2013 unless there is a 2 year college ruling.

And he should be number 1 overall no question unless he completely doesn't give a **** in college.

I love Gilchrist as well. Athletic freak and a lockdown defender.

Harrison Barnes chose to forgo the NBA Draft and return for his sophomore season at UNC.

Would suck to be a high lottery team.

You didn't choose to have that talent. You were given a gift. Because of that gift, you are given a privileged of making millions by playing a game.

That's incredibly disrespectful to all the hard work basketball players put in.

Is it weird that I think Chris Singleton can replace Iguodala and Young if we can't re-sign him. According to his scouting report, he could be a lockdown defender at the 3 and the 4 and he's a good 3 point shooter. You can start him at the 3 and then move him to the 4 and can space the floor with the lineup of:

Brand
Singleton
Turner
Meeks
Holiday

So you've never seen him play? The guy doesn't look like an NBA player at all. 2nd round talent in a bad draft.

Chris Singleton will be a phenomenal steal in the second half of the first round. He may not contribute immediately, but he'll turn himself into a very good roleplayer.

And, for the record, I have seen him play. Maybe once or twice.

Singleton is a very nice defensive player, but not much else. He can't put the ball on the floor and isn't a great shooter. Guys who turn the ball over twice as much as they get an assist on the college level and who shoot a low percentage and don't have a dead eye jumper tend to become role players in the NBA. Given his defensive ability though, the kid can turn himself into a nice corner 3 point shooter and be a very productive player for someone if the expectations are reasonable.

You know the draft sucks when we are talking about the 2013 Draft, lol.

I'm still hoping for Markieff Morris or Motiejunas (Euro Big than can score in a variety of ways...at our pick in this weak of a draft, would be thrilled if available). If they aren't there, trade back.
