What separates MCW from Johnson and Robertson is more the mental game than any other aspect. Both Johnson and Robertson, like all great players, had a focus that was unbreakable the entire game. Magic was known for his flashy passes, but, like Robertson, he never lost his focus. While every player, even the great ones, make their share of mistakes, they never lose focus. That head game is so important. While MCW plays hard and can play smart, he still has to better his focus and make better decisions to approach the Robertson-Johnson area. He certainly has the potential.

MCW bearly wins despite 70 first place votes to Oladipo's 9. Voting works, first place gets 5 points, second 3 points, third 1 point, so that means many voters didn't even include MCW on their ballots. What a **** joke...

5 x 70 = 350? How does he only have 319 points? Am I missing something?

Lol, not sure, there's the actual article, for some reason when I copied the url on my phone it was not the correct format. Perhaps mistype and it's supposed to be 419 in which case it's a more believable gap.

Done defending MCW and the Sixers on the general board. All I'm doing is feeding trolls. I'll only post here when regarding the Sixers

Dude its a cesspool over there. He is putting up numbers comparable to the all time greats (no he wont be one) and people are still hammering the guy. Just don't even bother.
They say an analytics man doesn't have a heart, but I ran the numbers and nothing can be further from the truth - Sam Hinkie probably

So far, we've only won the 2013 Draft. The trolls will really hate on the Sixers when the team starts winning.
“This may be one of the best jobs in basketball right now,” Colangelo said at a press conference introducing him as the new GM of the 76ers after Sam Hinkie resigned.

Also, remember that trade deadline where everyone thought we were jettisoning great players for nothing? Yeah, well about that....

League ain't ready for BasedHinkie.

Snubbing MCW and giving the award to one of these other scrub rookies would probably the biggest sports injustices I've seen in quite a long time.

Simply for the fact that the snub would not be to reward a standout candidate, rather to punish the obvious recipient.

This **** reminds me of Game Of Thrones.

They can crown a Usurper all they want. S*** ain't gonna be fun down the road when Michael Carter-Targarian comes to Westeros with them dragons.

& to clarify im not comparing their skillset necessarily just their level of star talent/power

Not even possible. MCW does not have that kind of upside. Climbing up the ranks to the point where people might consider him a top 5 PG is the absolute max he can reach IMO.

How much better is Chris Paul than the other top four point guards in the game? Right now that position is stacked and you can make arguments across the globe about who is the best point guard in the game. I think if MCW can stay healthy, and improve his outside shooting he will be as good as Anfernee Hardaway pre-injury. That in my opinion is top tier. People forget how good Hardaway was before his injuries. Improving his outside shooting will be the determining factor I think for MCW. As of right now I am just enamoured/fascinated with this kid, I think we have a winner. Cant' wait until the draft.

Oladipo going out in style and making a serious case for ROY tonight with 4 points in a loss....

Part of me wants Dipo to win it just so MCW can start beating folks to death with the enormous chip on his shoulder he'll carry around for the next few years. I want angry MCW, I want to see Hulk MCW. :banghead:

What's sad Is MCW is the hands down rookie of the year, it's not even close. However, people's hatrid towards our direction or toward philly period will bring out the nonsense targeting him.

We shouldn't take the bait on the General Board really. Hate will come no matter what. Don't like to call people out but I'm sorta looking forward to the reaction of a certain Jazz fan if MCW wins ROY haha
