Sixers fans big board: Pick #19

Post#1 » by HartfordWhalers » Mon May 19, 2014 1:35 pm

#1 was Wiggins
#2 was Embiid
#3 was Parker.
#4 was Exum
#5 was Randle
#6 was Vonleh
#7 was Smart
#8 was Gordon
#9/#10/#11 was Young/Harris/Saric threeway tie :o
#12 was Stauskas
#13 was Nurkic
#14 was McDermott
#15/#16 was Ennis/Anderson
#17 was Lavine
#18 was Payne
On to #19

Again, this is the player you most wish the Sixers would pick of the remaining players, not who you think will go 19th in some mock draft.

Poll choices being filled out by Dx mock draft, but if you want another choice upcoming just make some noise about it. Also, note, Dx has a new order, so poll choices were reordered to match

I feel that way about Hood and Capella. Almost bumped Robinson up a slot to put him on this, as I like him before 19 as well. That 15-25 area of this draft looks pretty solid to me.

Played it safe and picked Hood.

Actually if you ask me which Center I want for my perfect championship caliber team, I will chose Asik hands down

I'm waffling again between ceiling and demonstrated ability. I picked Capela over KJ but KJ would be fun to watch in BB's system.
“This may be one of the best jobs in basketball right now,” Colangelo said at a press conference introducing him as the new GM of the 76ers after Sam Hinkie resigned.

I'm going with your guy here, Hartford. Give me some Capela.

Capela would be a brutal piece to plug into a lineup with Noel at the 5.

Pretty sure the opposing 4/5 would just take turns line dancing in and out of the restricted area.

Interesting. Capela looked like trash playing against NEXT years' 1st round picks. But he is a better player than THIS years' 1st round picks. :D

I like McDaniels, but his agility rating at the combine was a little puzzling. Porzingis would be my second choice after KJ here.

Yeah. I was shocked. I read somewhere he had the worst score at the combine.
