I'm good with a core of MCW, Johnson, Nerlens, Embiid, Saric, McDaniels and Grant.

Add a couple good veteran pieces to that group and it has the potential to be very good in a few years.

None of them can shoot.

Hezonja is the better fit, just not sure he will be worthy of a top5 pick, I don't know about Stanley either.

Right now my top5 prospects will be Okafor, Mudiay, Alexander, Towns and Hezonja, Porzingis or Stanley Johnson, I got my doubts there.

- 23.5 PER
- 8% DIP
- 7'1.5" wingspan
- 119 offensive rating, 2.4 O win shares
- 95.8 defensive rating, 1.9 D win shares
- .737 free throw shooter
- .562 true shooting (needs to improve)
- 13.5% total rebounder (needs to improve)

If he slightly improves his scoring efficiency and rebounds a bit better, he'd be on top 5 watch.

He lacks athleticism, he is a smart big with skills, but I don't see the elite potencial there.

A 1st round pick, and top20, maybe late lotto pick, but that's all.

I thought the draft wheel idea was interesting.

I'm not sure what the final solution should like, but I think they should take out the lottery aspect of the draft. Honestly, the lottery doesn't deter teams from tanking. It's not like the Sixers, Magic, or Jazz were any less inclined to tank because of a lottery system. The only thing the lottery does is make bum ass organizations like the Cavs get high picks they don't deserve.

It may not deter tanking, but the sixers weren't rewarded with the 1st or 2nd pick for the product they put out there. I think the lottery is better than simply going reverse order.

I think a simple change, such as, you get the first pick then you are not eligible for the first pick for 5 years. Same with a 2nd or 3rd.

I think the Cavs shouldn't get the first for five years. The bucks shouldn't get the second for five years, and the sixers shouldn't get the third for five years.

Just a thought to deter perennial tanking.

I think 5 years is too long, just dont let the team who wins the lottery get the 1st pick the next season.

If he makes a big jump from year 1 to year 2, I doubt very much he doesn't go in the top 10. He performed in the same realm as Noah Vonleh and Julius Randle last year and they both went top 10 in a deeper draft.

Looking at how the Bucks have an NBA ready SF with Jabari and how Magic looks to have a very solid collective talent with their 4 lotto picks. Who should we look after for the worst record in the league?

Hard to say right now because a couple teams (Knicks, Lakers) could be in the discussion barring free agent decisions.

Milwaukee and Orlando should still be pretty bad, in my opinion.

I think we are certainly the favorite for the number one pick next year, which kind of sucks since the prize is a big man, which we don't need. But there is a lot of basketball left to be played from this year to next.

If I had to choose right now, I think Mario Hezonja would be the target for this draft, I'm kinda hoping Wayne Selden emerges this yr to be the guy tho

The worst record isn't getting the #1 pick at any consistent clip these days.

Or this. Everyone in the top 5 will be itching to get up to #1 for Okafor barring injury.

I'd be fine straight up taking Okafor, too.

I really like Hezonja for you guys. He is a superb prospect who would fill a major need, and also might help ease the transition of Saric and himself to the NBA. I'm really loving the look of your team.

Outside of Hezonja, I'd say Towns would fit very well as a stretch four with excellent size.

Yup, that's why the Wiggins was a great fit for the team's need and direction. But I'm not complaining for I think we end up with the more superior prospect in Embiid.

Anyway, I'm Ok with either Mudiay and Stanley Johnson.

Mudiay's biggest test will be getting through the Larry Brown novice grinder. If he can be an impact freshman while playing for Larry Brown, that cements him and gives him an extra glow as a prospect.

i don't think Mudiay is the #1 prospect by the end of the season.

Myles Turner, Jahlil Okafor, Stanley Johnson should all be in the mix.

I was thinking the same thing. I was shocked any top prospect would choose SMU, but I feel like there must have been some assurances given as far as playing time and letting the kid be featured in the system.

It helps the Sixers if he's injured, they'll take him.

I posted this in the NBA Draft forum, some names might be missing, but I think the most importants one are all there, just in case you want to research some ones you might don't know.

A Big Board of 100 prospects is possible in this class, and that means is a deep one.

Less star power but seems to be a deep class also.

Some international talent at the top with Hezonja, Porzingis, probably in the lottery, and Diop, Garcia, Milutinov, Jaiteh, Sipahi, Hernangomez, Diagne, Larsen, Vrabac, Buza, Vezenkov, Todorovic, Dimsa, Ponitka, Pasecniks, Osman, Birsen, Diez, Zhelin,... around too.

Jahlil seems to be the clearcut nº1 at this point, with Mudiay as the main competition, I don't believe there is major superstar talent, but there are pretty good players, well rounded ones, high IQ guys.

Guys that I like, and I believe they could declare/be there,

Okafor
Mudiay
Hezonja
Alexander
Towns
SJohnson
Porzingis
Brimah
LeVert
BJohnson
DWright
Jordan
Hollis-Jefferson
Portis
Mickey
Hamilton
Paige
TJones
Winslow
Dekker
Ridley
Ashley
Kaminsky
Sulaimon
Bird
Ferrell
Nichols
Shepard
Layman
Karnowski
Williams-Goss
Baker
Finney-Smith
Purvis
Mickelson
Dawson
Frazier
Powell
Hield
Haws
Petteway
Goodwin
Long
Ellis
Hunter
Thompson
Niang
Polee
AWilliams
Valentine
Staten
Kennedy
Qualls
Moore
Cook

I don't like that much... Myles Turner, Dakari Johnson, Cauley-Stein, Poythress, Hammons, Jerian Grant, Harrell, Chris Walker, Kelly Oubre, Wayne Selden, Tarczweski, Tyrone Wallace, Boatright, Hanlan, Joshua Smith, D'Vauntes Smith-Rivera, D'Angelo Harrison, the Harrisons, I think they could all be there/declare though.

I think Jabari Bird, Caris LeVert, and Isaac Hamilton are clear choices to a possible break out, Derrick Walton Jr., Troy Williams, Dorian Finney-Smith, Nigel Williams-Goss, Rodney Purvis, Terry Rozier, Malcolm Brogdon, Ron Baker, George Niang, Norman Powell, Rasheed Sulaimon, Markus Kennedy, Tyler Roberson, Rysheed Jordan, Johnathan Williams III, Jarell Martin, Robert Hubbs III, Przemek Karnowski, Ryan Boatright, Jake Layman, Winston Shepard, Sam Thompson, Amida Brimah, Austin Nichols, Nick King, are others, some of them probably will wait for another year, or even too.

And it's a weak class in the wings, at least top flying prospects, some teams that will be bad, Orlando, Philadelphia, Detroit, Minnesota, Utah,...and mostly need wings, are going to have a hard time in the top5-10 to find one worth of ir, outside of Hezonja, Johnson and Oubre, I don't see wings that could be top10 picks, and I have my doubts with those 3 too.

Could be a very deep class, we will see.

only time will tell, but on first glance it looks to be a pretty average/mediocre draft class.
I loved loved loved the 2014 Draft Class from Day 1. Pretty lukewarm top to bottom on 2015 as of now.

theres still a lot of time though, guys who are seen as top picks now will drop hard, and guys will rise up who weren't on anyone's radar
