Westbrook had surgery. Will miss some time. With Durant out too... ugh. That pick slipping away.

Yeah...we aren't getting that pick at this rate. OKC has been dealt a bad hand this year.

it will be funny when the only pick we get is our own and the Lakers and "miraculously" the Heat jump up into the top 3 because **** you thats why.

@WojYahooNBA: Russell Westbrook won't miss much time with surgery. "If he had a playoff game (Sunday), he could play," league source tells Yahoo Sports.

Come on guys, only Washington and Milwaukee are in front of them, both playing like crap. Soon theyll have Russell back, Durant should return and the team is pretty deep. We're getting this pick. Wiz and Bucks are barely ahead anymore

San Antonio is sort of slipping, too, but I just don't think it's a lock until I see Westbrook and/or Durant playing. OKC should not only be motivated to hold off NO and PHX, but also desperate to play the 2 seed, so hopefully there is a sense of urgency for that time when either is healthy.

They're only trailing 1 game. I'm not concerned.

Edit: Also want to add that the OKC/LAL game tomorrow is a win-win for us. I'm rooting for LAL, but won't be upset either way.

Det losing is a bad thing because they are losing to the Wiz. You want them to beat the Wiz so OKC would be a game back from the 19th spot.

OKC will get on a run when they get their stars back. Wash is going backwards, Det is all bunch up with other teams and they are too close to Miami. If Miami loses you want those team to lose also.

From that reasoning, if Wash get their stars back in Beal, Pierce and Wall get healthy they may make a run too. I rather the wiz gain no ground on OKC then be worried with the Heat pick at the moment. Not to mention Russ might miss some game due to a fracture cheekbone.

Speaking of Beal and Pierce, they are playing tonight which is why they are winning.

You have your opinion and it differs from mine. Wash been on a losing slide, 2-8 in their last 10 and their ship is sinking. I value the Miami pick higher then OKC and I see us getting the OKC pick this year @19 or 20. Miami can fall into the 9th or 10th slot easily.

Agree to disagree, I think the Heat is able to pull maintain their pace since they still have Wade and Dragic to do the heavy lifting. OKC is decimated with injury, and Wash is just a few star players coming back from injury to turn it around. We have different priority.

So Phil's on a scouting tour of all the big NBA recruits in the country and while he's gone the Knicks go on a win streak? Hilarious.

Delon Wright looks like he's the best player on the floor in this Arizona Utah game. So poised, some of his teammates are awful tho.

Idk if I'd use a first round pick on him even tho i really like him. I'm stuck between him and Grant.

Best case scenario he falls to the 32nd pick, that'd be a steal in my opinion.

Don't we want Minnesota to lose ?

ETA - nevermind. A Minnesota win gives us more cushion in the #2 spot.
