I'd like to see Papa Peyton get one more before he retires, but I wouldn't mind if the Colts won either.

Will be intresting to see if he retires I doubt it. But Colts came to play.

He didn't look the same this year; I think he might. Elway wants him to get away from everything and said they'd talk in 4-5- weeks (probably because he may have a coaching staff by then). If you haven't heard, they fired everybody. (And the silence has been deafening since then.)

Yeah I'm not sure it will be intresting to see how things play out

Philadelphia to host 2015 CONCACAF Gold Cup final.

Date: July 26
Big news for soccer fans: This summer, Philadelphia’s Lincoln Financial Field will play host to the CONCACAF Gold Cup, the signature tournament for North and Central American national soccer teams. This is the first time the Gold Cup final will be held in a U.S. market that isn’t New York, Chicago or Los Angeles, confirming, along with the popular Philadelphia Union soccer team, Philadelphia’s growing stronghold on the national soccer market.

I'm not sure what the rules are for quoting a an article but this is the OT thread so hopefully anything goes :P

Pretty cool. I'm excited for the city.

That sounds cool and I don't even like soccer. And it's cool to post anything in this thread. As long as the mods ok it I'm good with anything.

Nice, but soccer in the U.S. is still like field hockey in the high school sports world. These big games/tournaments are fun to watch, but it is still very much a niche sport.

Ironically, the US field hockey training center is in Lancaster, and funded a massive sports complex. Tons of soccer, football, basketball...a long way from youth sports when I was growing up.

I think when the U.S. gets better at soccer they will be more enjoyable to watch. I enjoyed the World Cup last year and I hate soccer

Done with football but yes I watched that game. Just don't like the NFL and its morals I think Godell's a shady dude. That TE should be cut just for that play.

Just curious if the sixers fans here are mostly from Philly? or from all around the world.

And whether those fans attend to the real games will visit this forum...?

I might go to a game when I feel a little for sure maybe end of this year. I'm not from Philly I live in the suburban area nice area but inner Philly is cooler I just like the graffiti and that kinda stuff has that dope rough look. A little bit scary in some areas but it's cool. My one friend knows the dude that owns TastyKake and he's gonna hook me up with some tickets because nobody goes :banghead:
