I wouldn't describe any scenario where we don't get Simmons or Ingram as us being happy. Hield and Valentine on the later first round picks could be pretty sweet though.

LSU is in first in the SEC. And you guys said they would suck this year even with Ben.

Or the Syracuse team Melo had. I don't even think that Syracuse team was ranked the year they took it home with Melo. Watch Simmons and LSU run the table in the tournament.

Ben is definitely carrying that team. But lets remember this LSU team started the season ranked. They were supposed to be good this year

I want to see that happen. Just like I wanted to watch AI disrupt a threepeat with Shaq and Kobe.

Zhou Qi could is an excellent draft and stash prospect with the OKC pick. It would be great to have a Chinese fan base and you can never have enough big men. Am I right?
“This may be one of the best jobs in basketball right now,” Colangelo said at a press conference introducing him as the new GM of the 76ers after Sam Hinkie resigned.

Melo was damn good, but he doesn't win without Gerry McNamara or Hakim Warrick. I don't see them walking through that door at LSU.

Murray has turned it on as of late.

I'm still not sold on Murray. Great in transition, great from 3 on a large amount of attempts. Poor defender, mediocre athlete. Will probably come into the league as a 2 guard, which will be problematic considering his size and (lack of) athleticism. Would be better if he could play PG, but with a 13 AST% so far I have my doubts about that happening. Wouldn't take him with a top 5 pick.

Murray is basically OJ Mayo sort of, same flaws.
He should be a good scoring combo from the bench, but I doubt that's worth a lotto pick, maybe late lotto, 10-20 range anyway.

Murray may not be a top pick, but he's going to be a solid pro...Simmons and Murray would be a great haul in this draft.

Definately. It would make sixers be a popular one in my country again since Iverson left.

That's actually a very interesting bonus for the Sixers... Let's say we pick 1, 4/5 and then 20 and we take Simmons, Murray and Qi. In addition to making 3 strong choices, the 76ers just gained a lot of popularity in Australia, Canada and China. I supposed you could stretch that to Hield too, but I don't see any way he makes it to the Heat pick unless they absolutely fall apart.

I don't know anything about the kid other than he is tall, but if he is one of these high upside long shots, and is still on the board with the OKC pick them I would rather take and stash him than take someone destined to be a role player earlier.

I wouldn't pass up people like Grayson Allen or Melo Trimble for him, but I suspect that they will both be gone by that point anyway.

I think he's great in half court offense too. Moves well without the ball in his hands and gets himself open. I believe his shooting is great, period.

I still think he can play PG, but would have to grow into the role. Don't think defense will be a long term issue if he plays PG. Has the length and athleticism to do so. He's not the quickest player in the draft, but he is very athletic.

Another thing on Murray:

In this video, the most impressive thing he does isn't the threes he drains. At around 1:05, Murray goes coast to coast and finishes with his left hand (he's right handed). D'Angelo Russell, second overall pick in this most recent draft, is terrified of doing that.

The reason he can be a top five pick is because every shot that leaves his hand has a chance of going in. The reason he will be is because of his underrated athleticism and ability to finish with both hands at the rim. Defense will come with time.

Lets work on filling the stadium in Philadelphia before we worry about gaining popularity in other countries.
