I could see Covington to a playoff contender at the deadline for a mid first.
Hmmm. Maybe.

I would only do this if landry is outgoing as well.HartfordWhalers wrote:KramerDSP wrote:HartfordWhalers wrote:I don't see any way Philly adds a 2016 1st right now, they don't have much that is movable and has value.

Joel Embiid to Celtics for better of Mavs 2016 1st 1-7 protected or Nets 2016 1st, Sixers 2016 2nd
Trade 2
Rights to Chu Chu to Heat for Chalmers, Birdman and:
- Sixers right to swap lesser of Sixers 2018 1st or Kings 2018 1st (1-10 protected) for Heat 2018 1st (1-3 and 8-30 protected)
- If the 2018 1st swap does not occur then Sixers have right to swap their 2020 1st for Heat 2020 1st (1-3 protected)
- Sixers right to swap their 2022 1st for Heat 2022 1st (1-10 protected)
- If the 2022 1st swap does not occur the Heat will send their 2022 2nd and 1 million cash
Trade 3
Sixers 2017 2nd 31-55 protected to Thunder for Novak and:
- Better of Thunder 2017 2nd or Grizzlies 2017 2nd
- Sixers option to swap their 2019 1st for Thunder 2019 1st (1-10 protected)

The protection is weird because Heat owe their 2018 1st to the Suns 1-7 protected.

I see. Is there a reason you have swaps out two years apart? I'd prefer to have them consecutively than wait until freaking 2022! I'm patient but not that patient.

I posted a much simpler version of trade 2 earlier in the day than you came around to the similar idea... viewtopic.php?f=2&t=1402357#start_here
Also, it is my understanding that apparently you cannot protect a swap, So, adding 1-3 to it is not possible.
I think a 18 or 19 would make sense.

I'm almost certain a swap can be protected. If not then that's really silly.

I'd actually like to see the Heat have a really good season.
