Defense, depth, and mentor. Solid signing. No such thing as a bad one year deal. Suddenly, this roster is incredibly deep.

I like the value a lot - Amir has always been underrated. I'm not sold on the fit though. Simmons/Saric should get all the minutes defending the 4 and Embiid/Holmes should get all the minutes defending the 5. He's an advanced stats crusher and deserving of minutes so I don't just see him being the fifth big that's out of the rotation. Okafor almost certainly gone now too.
