Tobias probably doesn’t want to be traded now. He will be high usage now heading into free agency. I doubt a playoff flameout will bother a loser team like Detroit that’s probably going to give him a bag.

Yeah this is perfect for him. Harden leaves now Embiid is out. Nothing to stop him from putting up big numbers and securing another bag.

I just don't think it's in his game to put up big numbers. He hasn't even hit the 40 point mark though close at 39 and his role has been a scorer for most of his career. He's not a huge rebounder or playmaker on either end of the floor.

There are over 40 players averaging over 20 points per game and he's not one of them. Maybe he can join the list with Embiid out and just be a more consistent scorer that's all you can really hope for from him.

He´s a scorer who doesn't score that much. That's all you need to know about him.

It's kind of ironic that Tobias came in here after a career as a tank commander, and he'll be going out the same way.

I was going to say something similar.

5 years ago the 6ers thought it was a good idea to trade 2 1sts and a rotation level rookie in Shamet for soon to be free agent Tobias Harris. Could Detroit possibly be similarly gullible?

Fingers crossed.

That trade never ceased to be terrible.

Some reports say we do not want to part with Harris for Bojan Bogdanovic (who has only something like 2 million guaranteed next season).
Tobias Harris is shooting 35% from 3 this year at 3.4 threes per game. Meawhile, Bojan Bogdanovic is shooting 42% from 3 at 7.4 threes a game. I would not say Harris is a much better defender.

Think Harris is a better rebounder (not saying much, or maybe it is), a more versatile defender, a better ballhandler and better creator, ...

Bogdanovic is a better scorer on the other hand. But I understand if they wouldn't do such a trade because there's hardly any improvement (if there is) for the team

The WT now has the Pistons offered Bogs and Burks for Harris and the Sixers said no.

I'm very torn on this.

Tobias+Bogdanovic>Hield+Tobias >Bogdanovic+Burks

Bogdanovic is a poor rebounder (3rpg) and a really poor defender (-2.3 DPM).
