I think he just needs to hold tight. The contract is definitely coming for him. It would be an outrage if we didn't bring him back. I might actually quit following this team if that happens. There's no way we don't bring him back. There's reasons as to why we haven't signed him and I'm sure they've been explained to him behind closed doors.

I believe they need to sign him now if they want him on the playoff roster

I think they should. He , Oubre and Maxey are the only 3 players that can consistently get to the rim. If Oubre gets hurt or banged up , you need another player that can do that against tight defenses when the offense lulls.

Plus it's starting to look more and more like Cov isn't coming back...

so yeah looking forward to him going elsewhere and becoming a knock down shooter lol

I think you were right his team was negotiating. I think he will play as needed since I don't think Cov is coming back.

Some of Hields/Payne maybe?... They seem to bring negative value when they aren't hitting shots.

Oubre has had a nice stretch of games. Tobi is going to get his and Batum plays well with Embiid.

I agree with this for the most part. Same tier as those guys. He should be in the same tier. Buddy maybe gets the first look as he's an elite shooter. But give him a short leash.

Your main G/ F rotation for the POs could be:
Harris / Batum / Oubre
Maxey / Melton / Lowry

The next tier to fill in the remaining minutes:
Hield / Payne / Council / Martin

Happy for him, I don’t really expect him to play much in the playoffs unless there’s injury but he should be in the rotation at some point next year. If he can be a playable wing that’s huge on a minimum deal once the team is back in the tax.

Getting him for 4 years at this price helps Morey go the 3 star route. At a minimum he should be playing rotational regular season minutes beginning next year. And if he learns how to shoot he's a winning player.

The good ol Hinkie special. Nice signing.

I can see him being in our 9-10 man rotation next year.
2023-2024 Philadelphia 76ers:

Maxey/Melton/Hield
Oubre/Batum/Council
Harris/Covington/Martin

I had a feeling about RC4 once we added him after the draft. Not a bad addition at all considering we didn't even have a pick. He's got an opportunity here to grow into a nice 3&D player for us. I am so happy we locked him into a 4 year deal. He's got the work ethic, he just needs to avoid any major injuries and he'll be looking at a nice payday once his contract is up. The kid is a gem, we're lucky to have him.
