There’s never been a time in history when we look back and say that the people who were censoring free speech were the good guys.

I pity the team that wastes a 1st on Edey, and someone will certainly do that. Better not be the Sixers.

Edey is worth a shot with a first, in this draft. He’s even a lotto for me. He’s a guy that you cant find a cheap replacement in GLeague. But he needs to fit with overall context of the team.

I’m not spending a single pick on Mr. Edey. Not sure what the longterm play would be there.

Rooting to Edey to succeed because these 220 pound centers are trash.

Clingan is going to be a beast in the NBA too.

It will be interesting to see in this draft and the next few if teams are more willing to take a chance on 7ft+ players to try and combat Wembanyama.
If teams are weighing up the first pick or what they would trade for it, Alexandre Sarr stands out as someone who could match up well on Wembanyama compared to most players in the NBA.
Do raw athletic freaks now have more value?

What if its never Chet vs Wemby rivalry? What if the rivalry will be Edey vs Wemby?

Post offense is what will bring him to the league, his passing is the trait that will allow him to stick. I think Edey will be a good pro. Whether that's a 15 mpg player or a 30 mpg player, I do not know.

Edey is going to be an absolute unit in a playoff series, though.

I go back and forth on who's better between Edey and Clingan. I think a lot of people are sleeping on Edey right now. He's going to be able to play some decent minutes in the NBA.

Mark Sears plays a lot like Brunson but who wants to bet on a 6’1 senior PG with limited athleticism to pan out with a draft pick?

I’d have Clingan over Edey. Because Clingan is the type of big that can play whole game and there’s no situation that he’s not playable, unlike Edey. Its just me and I like both players

Guys at the 15th-20th range that I like:
- Terrence Shannon (back-up Maxey)
- Kel’el Ware (double big potential)
- Jared McCain (back-up Maxey)
- Daron Holmes (double big potential)

Yeah, I've made that connection in the past.

There's just something about guys that possess moxie that allows them to succeed.

I think Clingan is the preferred on the two for defensive reasons and youth.

I like all of those guys to varying degrees, except Ware.

Holmes seems like the hidden gem, among the upperclassmen.

Could have come out after his freshmen year. Just stayed in school and kept adding to this game. And he was a RSCI top 100 guy (38th in his class). He's easily a lotto talent. Getting him late first or 2nd round is ridiculous value.

He IS what people thought Marvin Bagley was SUPPOSED to be.
