If Jokic retired today, he deserves a statue just as much, if not more, than some here. 2x MVP, Finals MVP, and won Denver their first championship? How is that any different than Giannis, who is at the same age? Jokic has arguably done it with less around him too.

I'm sure Jokic is 6. The only validation I would give is that while they are same age, Giannis was an actual MVP before we knew Joker was even at that level. So, greatness longevity?

Unless you're giving Klay and Green a package deal with Steph (which is unfair to Steph imo), they aren't in the same stratosphere as Jokic.

Dudes that bolt for free agency when the going get tough don't deserve a statue IMO.

Steph Curry
Giannis Antetokounmpo
Nikola Jokic

^ Give those three statues.

Scrubs like LeBron and KD can get murals on walls across the street from a Dunkin in those cities or something.

I agree with this sentiment to a degree, but the going never got tough for Golden State other than having to deal with long injuries for a couple seasons. That is not the same "tough" 20 plus some franchises have dealt with for decades.

This is not me saying Curry does not deserve a statue though.

As those 2 specifically like to point out when they're getting embarrassed on the court, 4 rings during years where they were essentially all defense or all stars....Pretty deserving. Jokic gets a statue 100% though.

Jayson Tatum 1/11 in the 2nd half against the Cavs. That’s how you beat the Celts.

Switch then force Tatum to carry the offense with a lot of 1v1 actions. Warriors has done it before.

So, when will Doncic request a trade?

And would you give up Maxey?

I get the feeling they are friends and Maxey might be the catalyst to get him here.

Dray & Klay don’t quite reach statue level imo. Guys like James Worthy & Kevin McHale don’t have statues so I don’t see why those two would.

I see no reason to trade Maxey for anyone.

Homegrown star with both talent and personality. He should retire a Sixer.

Lebron got the Cavs his first and only championship against one of the best statistical teams ever, got to another 4 finals with them, won 2 MVPs and is actually from Ohio.

There is no way he doesn't get a statue

Jayson Tatum has shot 15-of-46 (32.6%) in clutch time this season, which ranks 25th out of 25 players, minimum 45 FGA

All of the national podcasters have been talking about how the Bucks are now true title contenders with the changes Doc made & it’s driving me crazy. They’re the same team with the same flaws. Only difference is they’re no longer giving poor effort in an attempt to get their coach fired.

Now Ben is done for the season again! I don't understand this guy. Almost every summer, since he was a rookie, we have seen videos of him working on his game, being in great shape and "improving" ! Then the regular season roles around and I don't care which team he is playing for, he either under performs or just can't perform. Is the regular season just to hard on his body ? Is he truly just not built for the NBA anymore?
The Accession of Paul Reed is upon us !

Bring on the draft

You want it to be one way....but it's the other way.

This x 1000.

If the Cavs want to build a statue, it should be of Adam Silver for suspending Green.

I've seen a couple people claim Ben looked less athletic the last year he was here. I don't recall that but does any one else?
