Furk is like the Sixers' version of Derek Barnett. He sucks and rides the bench, but for whatever reason he's still here after 7 seasons.

Are we ever going to see a high flying KJ dunk or no?

I mean, if it's bad attitude he's gonna be out of the league soon

Giles is legit though as someone mentioned injuries ruined him. Anyway ggs thought it would be a trap game thankfully wrong

Springer got burn. Long season, funky jumpshot but as long as it goes in who cares. Could develop into that 3&D guard role and spot over Melton when the time comes

Tyrese is one of the top 2nd and 4th quarter scorers in the league and Joel barely plays in 4th quarters.

Like the way they pace Tyrese, he's also amongst the top 3rd quarter assists men. This team needs 4th quarters to belong to him. I thought he picked his spots a little better in the 1st and 3rd today on when to be aggressive.

Well, one stat that stands out, with a guy like Max running the point. We had 4 turnovers the whole game, while they had 15.

You want us to really run up a good record, that stat difference would go a long way towards it.

And yet how many of these super solid wins would have been losses last year? Only losses are to Milwaukee by one, to Boston in a back to back after beating them once the week before and to Indiana in a weird two home games in a row against a great young offensive team.

Doc would be sitting up there making excuses for poorly designed game plans several more times if this was last year. Stacking up wins you should win and by big margins is the way to go. This team is enjoyable to watch, Maxey is an amazing Robin to Jojo’s Batman.

I can’t quite say when was the last time Maxey lost the ball from ball handling mistakes or straight stripped, it basically comes from passing execution errors

Very rare thing to have. He just never gets loose with the ball in hand

its not a bad thing just that you don't learn much from them as a fan.

I'll take those over losing to the spurs because Doc wanted to play Trez too much tho

Anyone else think that Morey despite his flaws is a highly underrated drafter? The Maxey pick speaks for itself and Springer has shown real potential and Joe who FWIW has become a solid bench piece for OKC.

I just wish his protege Hinkie was as good of a drafter as his mentor otherwise he still might be here or at least in the NBA in general.

He’s got the same disease as Shake Milton where it looks like he’s shooting a bowling ball. I’m surprised anytime it’s not an airball.

I missed the game, glad we won. In fact, we beat the crap out of them from the looks of it. I don't think enough good things can be said about Tyrese Maxey. The fact that he averages like what? One turnover a game as the point guard/lead guy is hard to fathom. I thought for sure his turnovers would go up once he took on more responsibility. Say what you will about Harden, but he was able to give Maxey just enough time to evolve into what he's become. I realize most of this has been because of the hard work that Maxey puts in, but talk about being put in the right situation at the right time. Drafted by a playoff team, became a contributing factor on a playoff team, played big time minutes in the playoffs. It shouldn't really come as a surprise as to how good he's gotten.

Interesting, I know its against the law to say it, but I don't think he is doing too bad. The situation with Ben and Harden was messy, but we have gotten through it with a better team with future options. I had no hope for this team at the start of the season with all the endless failures, but at least this team is fun to watch and might have a future for a change.

What he does next in a trade will probably determine his legacy in Philly.

Embiid has improved as a passer, still not good enough to be the 1st option in playoffs of course, but nice to see improvement.

I'm sure he knows to be smart with the assets he accumulated through the Harden deal. We're looking good with cap space and now draft picks in the future. It's been depressing not having any kind of draft pick when June rolls around. I don't like that. We should always be trying to add young talent to this roster to keep this thing moving forward with and of course beyond Joel Embiid. I know franchises have setbacks, teams miss the postseason from time to time, but I don't even want to go through another tank era. A short-sighted move like trading for Lavine would inevitably create future dark ages for this roster. Don't want that. I give Morey mad props for how he's handled literally everything outside of the PJ Tucker signing. That's the only check mark on his tenure with this team and PJ is thankfully gone and we came out with only minor injuries from it. I remember in a matter of months Elton Brand pretty much sank this team along with all of it's remaining assets. Morey came in and saved us.
