The Sixers made me this way.

Should we meet the Nuggets in the Finals, I like our chances. The problem is, always has been, and seemingly always will be Boston.

Imagine the scenes, Embiid skipping all the altitude games in a playoffs series, it would be amazing scenes.

Ahh The old reverse psychology trick. Embiid be thinking ! Everyone is playing checkers Embiid is playing chess.
The Accession of Paul Reed is upon us !

Bring on the draft

You want it to be one way....but it's the other way.

If we can only match up with Boston like how we match up with Nuggets, we’d been in the finals for 3 years already lol

It's not only Boston, we also lost against Raptors, mediocre Hawks and not that good Heat. It's more than just Boston.

If you can get Joel Embiid to play with that spirit in the clutch in the playoffs, this team is a title contender. Perhaps he needs to somehow convince himself he's trying to outduel Jokic when he's playing every other team in the league as well.

If we had Batum instead of PJ Tucker last season, they might have won the Championship.

That Batum corner 3 off the Embiid pass was ridiculous.

Batum is one of the best low usage players in the league. I imagine the team will do their best to bring him back the next year. A great guy to be on the roster.

Batum is a good fit in the starting lineup. His passing, energy, & shooting works well for us. Watching this game I'm even more convinced we should trade for DeJounte Murray and move Melton to the bench. I'd settle for Bruce Brown if we can't get Murray. A long two guard who can defend, handle the point role and scores well is a missing piece.

Don't know about 'spirit,' he just drilled 5 straight long jumpers. If he can do that every 4th quarter yeah it's on.

Both would be nice in a vacuum but Dejounte will cost us, doesn't defend at a high level anymore, and starts a big 4-year extension next season. Brown would be cool but not sure anyone thinks he's a huge upgrade from Melton. Would you want to give up a 1st for that?
