The rest of the league is salivating over the thought of smashing their elbow into Embiid's orbital bone.

We are now lacking in goonery , should have atleast 1 guy willing to get suspended for taking up for their star player.

Should Paul George depart from the Clippers, the Philadelphia 76ers are poised as the top contenders to sign him, per Bovada

Philadelphia 76ers: +275
New York Knicks: +950
Sacramento Kings: +950
Oklahoma City Thunder: +1400
Indiana Pacers: +1400
Dallas Mavericks: +1500
Los Angeles Lakers: +1500

I don't buy it. It's all a ploy and makes no sense when Morey didn't sign Harden.

Wasn't Morey asking for a star wing from the Clippers when negotiating the Harden deal? Additionally, he appears determined to secure supermax cap space in the offseason. I don't believe he will merely allocate some of that space for picks, similar to Presti's approach with the upcoming CBA. The next best possibility could be using the cap space for ex-raps like Siakam or OG.

All of that is rumor and speculation. Everyone thought Philly was going to be signing Harden. We heard it for 6 months, never ended up happening.

Harden has no work ethic and has been declining faster than PG13. Plus George is 1 year younger, at their age that matters a lot. You probably going to squeze 1 more year of good performance out of that deal than with Harden.

Also those no defense and ball dominant style players are way more problematic for team building, specially if they make a lot of money. George is a way better fit here.

I think giving a multiple year max(or close to it) to Harden was a considerably worse move. Its not the same.

Paul George is the most injury prone star this side of Joel Embiid. Having two of them is putting your eggs in a landmine in the middle of Times Square hoping no one will step on it.
