Nurse just a little salty about Maxey slipping on that breakaway, up three with the clock winding down.

We went small and it hurt us around the rim but we should have made up for it on the other end with the lineup we had out there. We couldn't because Maxey was the only ball handler. When they denied Maxey the ball the sixers looked out of sorts and we had to overrely on Oubre and Hield as ball handlers.

Hield played well the 2nd half but he doesn't offer enough ball handling when he's the only other guard and Maxeys being denied the ball.

Oubre is not a good decision maker as we seen all fourth quarter.

N.N also has to come up with better strategies when Maxey is being denied the ball. Hopefully this game is a reference.

This. And not "wingspan bigger" either. Actually significantly taller.

Maxey will always have limited talent, that's fine, he plays hard and tries his best, we just need to know his limitations and build the rest of the team accordingly.
Great takes since 2024-04-20

Games like this are why I decided years ago to decide my own record and reality when it comes to sports. Because what is considered the "official" rulings are so often objectively wrong. I count this as a win for the Sixers and will consider that official going forward.

My dream is LaMelo if he's available in the offseason. The only problem is he's always injured (which might lower his trade value) and knowing our luck, he'd be Bynum 2.0 for us if we traded for him.

LaMelo would be an excellent risk to take IMO.
