Sounds a lot like Kobe Bryant to me.

Kobe with Gasol put him firmly as #1. He also wasn’t a 3pt spammer like Tatum is.

I’d say for their 2nd title. Their 1st one together Pau was their best player throughout the playoffs IMO.

Stop. Tatum is not even in the same solar system.

So, just the first quarter... but...

Time to start a conversation about the Clippers being better without Kawhi right now'?

Sucks, but it’s a lot easier to do this against Dallas than Boston.

Will be shocked at this point if the finals aren’t Boston-Denver again.

I still don't understand the we are the better/more talented team than Knicks thing some of you were going on about. I promise I'm not being facetious but it was obvious this roster is poorly constructed for a playoff run. Thanks Morey.

Knicks Athletic , Gritty , Best rebounding team, Physical ,Defensive minded , Deep, One star player, Lack of shot creators, Injured players

1. Jalen Brunson (Shotcreator/playmaker) (Clutch/Playoff Performer) (Undersized/mediocre defender)
2. Julius Randle Injured (Physical scoring PF/Reb) (Inconsistent shooter/ questionable shot selection)
3. OG(Athletic 3&D/Knock down shooter) (Lock down Defender) (Underwhelming shot creator/playmaker)
4. Josh Hart(Elite Rebounding/Defending wing)(under-rated passer) (Unreliable scorer)
5 DiVicenzo ( Above average SG) (2way) (Average shotcreator/playmaker)
6 Hartenstein (Legit starting double/double threat) ( Solid rim protector /post defender) (No reliable range)
7. Bojan ( Proven scorer/shooter) ( Past prime/Non defender)
8. Precious( Athletic 2way stretch 4) (Undersized/Inconsistent)
9. Miles Mcbride( Sniper combo guard) (Strong underrated defender) ( Undersized /questionable playmaker)
10. Robinson. (Legit 7ft defensive big man) (Lob threat /Rim protector) ( Injury/foul prone)
11. Alec Burk ( Big guard/ Ball handler) (Inconsistent/Low motor)

Sixers (1-2 scoring punch) (Elite 2way big man) (rising star SG) ( good coach) (veteran led) ( mediocre rebounding team) (small backcourt ) (small ball lineup ability) (underwhelming max player)

1. Joel Embiid ( Elite 2 way big) (Difference making scorer/defender) (Injury prone/questionable playoff performer)
2. Maxey (Scoring combo guard) (Speed&3pt shooting) (growing defender) ( undersized/average shot creation)(questionable playmaking)
3. Oubre (Athletic 2way wing) (slashing ability) ( questionable bball Iq /shot selection)
4. Tobi (Midrange scorer) ( solid rebounder) (Reads books) ( Inconsistent scorer/ defender) (Max payed/role player production) (slow/soft)
5. Kyle Lowry ( Championship pedigree PG) (High IQ) (Playmaker) (Philly Bred toughness lol) (Undersized) (Past prime) (Underwhelming scorer)
6.Batum ( playmaking 4/3) ( High Iq) (Solid defender) (Quick 3pt shot ability) (Past Prime) ( Loss of athleticism) ( Average Motor) (Non-scorer)
7. Hield ( 3pt shooter) ( underrated passer- defender) ( soft/Inconsistent) ( slow /lacks shot creation for a guard) ( too small/unathletic for a wing)
8. Payne ( solid back up PG ) ( under-rated scoring ability) (bravado/attitude) (Tiny guard/undersized) (bizarre 3pt form) (questionable decision maker)
9. Reed ( Versatile defender) (High motor) (solid athlete) ( Undersized) (questionable IQ) ( lacks reliable offensive game)
10. Melton ( good defender) (good athlete/length) ( undersized guard) ( below average finisher/shot creator)
11.KJ and Council ( Athletic defending forwards/questionable shooters) (Young inexperienced) (Nurse scared to play them)

Yes we have the best player in the series but he's obviously banged up. The Knicks are deeper, have the best shot creator and better rebounding team. I just don't see how anyone can look at our roster and think its more talented better than the Knicks...

We're losing to the Knicks and our next round would be either the extremely hobbled Bucks or the Pacers who, up until the last Haliburton three, was struggling against a Giannis-less, Lillard-less Bucks. God this is annoying.

Yeah, sadly this was the year to get to at least the ECF and take our shot against Boston. Damn shame.

Now watch, after all this they come back and win the series.

They already lost to a Hawks team that desperately tried to lose a series.

They lost to Boston last year when they were up 3-2 with a lead in the 4th quarter at home in Game 6.

This is not a curse. We just don't want to admit what the problem is.

Embiid not happy with fan presense at home
Disappointing," Embiid told reporters of the Knicks' fan support. "I love our fans. Think it's unfortunate, and I'm not calling them out, but it is disappointing. Obviously, you got a lot of Knicks fans, and they're down the road."
"I've never seen it, and I've been here for 10 years," he said. "Yeah, it kind of pisses me off, especially because Philly is considered a sports town. They've always shown up, and I don't think that should happen. Yeah, it's not OK."
 Joel I mean this respectfully but STFU

Now, im sure he was asked about Knicks fan infiltration but at this point why does it matter. You have had a great crowd for 10 seasons and still couldnt make a deep playoff run. The fans cant come down on the floor and rebound the ball. Sixers fans have been shouting MVP everytime you go to the line and being patient season after season while your injured since you got here. At this point maybe Sixers fans are over an underachieving team every season.

I think most Sixers fans are also smart enough to know this roster ain't it. I probably would of sold my seat too(maybe not). Tell Morey to actually put a product on the floor the fans can be confident in like the Knicks have and you might not have this happen. Hopefully Harris and Morey felt the overwhelming Knicks fan presence as well . If Morey doesn't get the job done this offseason hopefully Sixers ticket sales continue to go down. There being inclination that fans are growing tired of the same old song and dance every season may be a bit of an eye opener for front office.

Most Pull-Up 3PA in the playoffs:

1. Luka: 38 3PA—28.9%
2. Harden: 27—55.6%
3. Dame: 26—42.3%
3. Haliburton: 26—30.8%
5. Edwards: 24—37.5%
6. Kyrie: 23—43.5%
6. Maxey: 23—26.1%
8. Brunson: 22—22.7%
9. Mitchell3 : 20—30.0%
10. Garland: 18—50.0%
There’s never been a time in history when we look back and say that the people who were censoring free speech were the good guys.

I agree with him. It is annoying to see them takeover our stadium in the playoffs. Eagles fans have been doing it for years, but man, it's embarrassing to happen here.

I might be wrong, but it feels like an aftermarket issue. Too many people buy up season tickets as an investment so that they can sell to the highest bidder. As far as I'm aware, that's who gets first dibs on ticket purchases.

That said, I agree with you that he needs to keep his mouth shut there. Your team just got embarrassed on the boards down the stretch of a do or die game with you being the biggest guy on the floor by about 4 inches. Not the time to call out fans, particularly when it's not like it's the fans that control who buys the tickets. Complain to Josh.

Just wanted to post here the nice turnaround by Minnesota. Last year barely making the playoffs and getting clowned for the worst trade ever, to now sweeping the Suns.

Return to Philadelphia 76ers
