**** the officiating claims. Look at our players on that Hartenstein offensive rebound. That's everything. That's why we need to set Maxey aside and take a massive swing at the rest this summer.

The sixers have a bad habit about expecting fouls and just stop playing. Two classic cases the embiid up and down late in the first half and when maxey fell down before the divincenzo 3. I just can't take it anymore. There is some kind of bad juju with this organization.

Maxey was surrounded by two knicks when he fell and even they stopped for a sec because they expected the call.

Not an excuse and Maxey didn't have left the ball go, but that's a call 90% of the time, Nurse was calling a TO too

I hear you there was probably a foul but just hold on to the ball. Tyrese was awesome but we always seem to do stuff like that. It's really hard to lose that game yet we managed to. If we do one out of like 5 things right in the last minute we win. Instead we do them all wrong somehow. You would think eventually the cosmic scales would tilt with this team and we would get a break. It never happens.

Not to defend the Refs, and as a Knicks fan, I've seen a boatload of games taken from us by bad reffing,

But in the final seconds, letting the teams play is probably something the league wants. More exciting than all the timeouts. Doesn't make it right, but I'm guessing this is the kind of end the league wants, not timeouts.

If Maxey had just clamped onto the ball, then it's probably a jump ball - far more favorable to Philly. Players make mistakes, even good ones.
I don't remember ever feeling so relieved that a series was over. This one was a bit too tense for me. Great series, but not fun to watch, even though the good guys won.

Our secondary players suck. Melton really killed us getting hurt. You shouldn't lose games when your stars put up a zillion points.

The silver lining - Tyrese Maxey is the truth. Superstar. Build around him.

Knicks 6th highest scorer today was a point off our third, not good enough.

Tobias and Hield are two of the worst defensive players in this series and not scoring the ball either.

I feel for Hield, but he's too one dimensional and we aren't a good enough team creatively and passing wise to generate him open looks, thus rendering him useless.

Oubre hasn't been great offensively, but he's been a huge reason why Brunson has been muted the way he is. Competing a lot defensively on the perimeter and running around screens.

The tertiary pieces on this team simply aren't up to par and it's been a residual issue since 2018.

Also Embiid looks about as hobbled as I have ever seen him. Really not sure how long he has left. He has no lift and he can't run, he can't blink.

To be fair to the players, who had Jontay Porter suspended, these refs should also get some accountability.

Brunson had a bad game, shot too much and was double teamed a lot. He's a smart guy and will probably make adjustments for game 2. The Knicks problem is they don't really have a go-to scorer other than Brunson with Randle out. A lot of 3rd scorer types, but nobody other than Brunson who's really a go to scorer. Maybe Bogs, but he's like our 8th man and terrible on defense.

If Embiid was healthy, this would probably be your series, or, if Randle was healthy - (both teams were healthy), this would be a tough matchup. But we have to take it as it is. Lots of injuries in the NBA this season. Neither of our teams are 100%.

Just be happy hart threw in a bunch of nonsense man. You know the Knicks are lucky to be up 2-0. And the home cooking.

Because Embiid was stunned that there was no foul, and by the time he realizes its a live ball, he boxed our Hart who was Lowry’s man and probably the guy nearest that he can see (he’s looking towards Maxey while Hartenstein was at his far left).

Everyone was shocked. Except those knicks because they knew refs were cooking.

Ive been here for more than 20+ years and ive never complained about officiating unlike this

Nurse needs to expand or change his rotation.

I said it after last game that we need some athleticism and toughness out there. Gotta give Council and Martin a chance.

I've got to give you that one. Yes, Knicks are lucky to be up 2-0.

Philly has to protest this win, right? That's pretty much a given, even though the outcome won't be overturned, they have to call out the refs to the league and the league will have to review the final seconds of the game and make a statement.

I mean, i also think we're the better team, but the reality is we're down 0-2. You don't get bonus points for declaring you're the better team you have to show it.

Everyone is going to be expecting the Sixers to fold, so naturally they'll head back to NY tied 2-2. The Sixers for all their faults always make it as interesting as it can be before they truly break your hearts. If they lose this series, it'll be in a game 7 right after they've regained everyone's trust that they can win it again.

The official account posting this is killing me.

He's not Harden, can't pass the same way and doesn't have that same size, but I think about how Harden played his best ball on the best team he was ever apart of on the Rockets after acquiring CP3.

I think second phase Maxey post-Joel would really thrive next to another ball handler to compliment his game. Someone that can share half court responsibilities with him. A bigger guard that can operate the pick and roll at a high level and shoot off the ball.

It's who I'd be looking to pair him with.

I’m still wondering if there’s something wrong with his eyes, lol.
