same reason why drogba, anelka, gilardino and million others came back, either there are problems with payments and/or they realize they are already rich enough to not to get stuck in china long term. 90 percent of the foreign players come back from china within two years unless their only other option is playing for some podunk brazilian team.

drogba anelka made **** loads of money in their career. nowhere close to burak. he'll make his money and he will come back. if they don't make the payments, it would be better for him. will sue them while playing in europe or turkey again.

what is so funny again? if they don't pay you, you take it to UEFA first, then FIFA to sue them and get every single penny what they owe you :)

I think it's different now, I think they'll get paid. China or MLS? Think China is getting better player, but the local pool is better in the U.S

You raise a pretty interesting point. These Chinese teams are spending like PL teams at the moment. The question is sustainability. We know these owners are obviously super rich and are trying to boost the profile of Chinese football for their future World Cup hosting bids, but we've already seen the pitfalls of super rich billionaires investing in clubs and top name players. In some cases (Russian investment in Anzhi and Monaco) the spending was curbed almost as rapidly as it began because it wasn't a sustainable business model. There's also the factor of players failing to live up to expectations in the Chinese Super League because of a potential culture shock.

Anzi and Monaco had their funding cut because their owners had to do everything they could to stay out jail  , not because the model was unsustainable (though it was).

Not really the case, monacos owner lost half his wealth to his wife in a divorce, while anzhis owner lost more than half? his money in some type of deal that went south, while they aren't sustainable business models think we would see a good amount of investment had **** not hit the fan in their personal life's

Now that most of the European league seasons are done with, here's a bump for upcoming summer transfers.

Depending on where, the transfer windows open next month or at the beginning of July.

Not even trying to sound like a typical Scouser but I wouldn't trade our current situation for any team in the PL. Not even CIteh. Win on Wednesday and we're laughing. Lose and we're still making Top 4 next year and maybe even a title challenge push with one game a week.

I'd rather win tho.

Spurs linked with Callum Wilson, Schurrle and Wanyama (again).

Strange mix but I'd be fine with Wilson as a Kane backup rather than playing Son or Chadli as a striker.

I'm tired of reading all the links to supposed Leicester signings. Even worse when they are based on info from 3 years ago.

Typical Spurs signings, ha. Wanyama I like. Schurrle is a bit confusing, but good depth on the wings. Callum I know nothing about, but I guess it's good striker depth. More of a traditional ST rather than us getting cute with a N'Jie type and masquerading him as a ST.

Brendan Rodgers new Celtic manager.

How do Celtic fans feel about appointing a Northern Irish manager? He is probably Protestant.
Dirk Nowitzki, Steve Nash, Kevin Garnett, Toni Kroos, Pep Guardiola, Ernst Happel, Joachim Löw.

Nicolas Gaitan (Benfica) to Atletico Madrid. Could be a Griezmann replacement? or is he staying?
Ever Banega (Sevilla) to Inter. Meh.
River Plate LB Leonel Vangioni to AC Milan. I hate this.

As I said I'm really hating the rubbish being put out there regarding transfers....but I wouldn't say no to picking up Ox from Arsenal. I think a non-possession club like Leicester would be ideal for him. Taking the Okazaki role just in behind Vardy. And our medical staff does seem to be better.
