i'm fairly new to paying attention to the usmnt, so i don't get those references

is it because ferreria can light it up against lesser competition but not against better teams? i suppose there is probably a reason he's still in the mls and not in europe

Exactly. MLS all star and that’s about it.
He had a fair chance in the World Cup to prove his worth and instead did the opposite, so most US fans will not give him much credit for a single thing he does this tournament vs concacaf teams.

Still, he’s only 22 and has time to change this. I wouldn’t bet on it but I’d love for it to happen.

don't know how many of those guys have a decent shot for the world cup team but got them some decent experience either way. good for turner to face some shootouts i suppose

I kind of like Cade Cowell. Hopefully he can develop into a bench option.

Of course he hasn't and won't.

Herculez Gomez was right when he said Berhalter should have never been brought back if the USMNT had even a shred of ambition.

US Soccer is incompetent.

Aside from that, I'd love to see us play like a 3-4-3. Balogun up front with Reyna and Pulisic just behind. Musah and Adams in midfield flanked by Weah and Dest as wingbacks. And then dealer's choice on the back 3 (Ream, Richards, and maybe A. Robinson just to be even more buccaneering).
