Only Yaya is in the same class as De Rossi. Totti is only GOAT in Roma fans eyes lol...definitely one of the legends of the game and often underrated outside of Italy, like De Rossi

Who underrates De Rossi though? Everyone in every country speaks very highly of him.

Top 50 or so what, holding midfielders? I could buy that, as DDR is awesome and his initials are awesome, but he doesn't belong on a top 50 midfielders list if you expand it beyond holders. Still a great player though who's loyalty deserves much adoration and maybe even more respect than his excellent play.

*sigh* yet another topic that reminds me that tusche is actually gone and it's not just a bad dream. I'm not ready to loath this new coach just for that, but man, he's gunna have to be a second league Tuchel and get us over the promotion hump next season for me to ever really start to forgive him for driving that legend out. Gunna be rooting for Cottbus this season so damn hard. Losing him is like seeing Totti and de Rossi both driven out of Roma this summer because he was with us through the dark days and was a driving force in union's rise from the fourth division to second division mainstays in the top half of the table.

Jopek will become a legend himself as the son of an Eiserne great who grew up in those stands up and with this team who seems like the type who's loyalty will mean he doesn't become the very player he can be, because he has the talent to start for a el team one day, but he won't get there cause he won't leave this club and for that we will love him unabashedly, but that only makes losing tusche hurt a little less. I mean Kramer has become my second favorite non union player in part because tusche is also his favorite player.

I haz a pretty damn bad sad about this one and few athletes departures can hit me like this. This is worse than finding out Ewing was traded and even seeing Eli leave won't hurt this bad.

i mean Totti as top 50 guy, not DDR.

and i dont know if DDR is not top 50 midfielder of all time or not, but he's one of the best DM in his era, if not the best.

no, i dont count Pirlo, Xavi, as DM..

All time, I don't think DDR is top 50. Would have to make a full list to be sure but I can come up with about 20 off the top of my head without even getting into 10s.

He is right behind makelele for great holders of this generation, but expand that to all midfielders and all time and he falls a lot.

Tim Wiese has confirmed that the WWE did approach him about joining and that he is listening to what they have to offer! What a turn, would be quite awesome!

Hakan Calhanoglu and Ömer Toprak won't travel to the turkish national team. The Bayer-Stars should have canceled the qualifying matches against the Czech Republic and Latvia because Gökhan Töre was called back into the national team.

The Besiktas player Töre should be stormed with friends to the team hotel against Holland in October 2013 after the World Cup qualifying match of the Turks. Turkish newspapers reported that Calhanoglu and Toprak were threatened in her hotel room with a gun.

Indian footballer dies after goal celebration gone wrong

An acrobatic goal celebration gone wrong ended up costing 23-year-old Bethlehem Vengthlang FC midfielder Peter Biaksangzuala his life on Sunday. The incident occurred the previous Tuesday after Biaksangzuala scored a 62nd-minute equalizer during a third-division Mizoram Premier League match. The player celebrated his goal with two handsprings, but landed wrong on the second. He was left unconcsious on the pitch as his teammates called for help.

"The association president also being the state health minister, he did all that was possible even though he was out of station.

"We considered the option to fly him to Delhi but his condition was pretty bad. He was mostly unconscious, occasionally spelling out a few words," Hmar said.

Bethlehem has decided to retire the number 21 jersey as a tribute to Biaksangzuala while Hmar said MFA would organise a match in his memory.
