Messi and Di Maria too much for the youngins.

The Belgians should play a more defensive game and use their speed on counter attacks.
I think the Argentinians will have a tough time covering Hazard, de Bruyne, Mirallas, Origi etc.

Finally a side against Argentina can counter attack. Argentina 4-2 Belgium.

Argentina wins this then gets stomped by Netherlands in the semis.

Belgians hadn't reached the last 8 since '86. They looked like a boss creating all those scoring opportunities against the States, and considering how mediocre Argentina's defense is, they should be able to score multiple goals and advance to the semi's.

Jordan never fully understood basketball. He had the lowest basketball IQ of any NBA "superstar" in history.

Belgium is extremely overrated.

Are you implying that argentina aren't?

Has Messi ever scored against Courtois(since he became a World Class keeper)?

Against Courtois several times when he was with Chelsea, he hasn't been a "world class keeper" for very long.

I would say he's been a WC keeper for 2 seasons. Barca and Atletico played 6 times against each other just this season.

"Several times when he was with Chelsea" Wtf :-?

Lol messi hasn't even scored against Chelsea right ?

Think messi not scoring much on courtois has more to do with atletico's stingy defence than his brilliant goal keeping.

I can see Wilmots using a different lineup against Argentina .. He's definitely gonna consider putting Defour in the lineup to guard Messi. He's put Defour in that kind of role before. The "stick-with-him-like-glue" role.

Also expect Mirallas in from the start and Mertens&Lukaku coming off the bench.

Huge test for our defense. They didn't look good yesterday, but I think a lot of that had to do with Kompany not being 100% too. Though I still don't like Vertonghen&Alderweireld playing out of position. Vertonghen will always have one huge defensive mistake. Let's just hope Messi won't be around that time :D

I'm not as confident as some of the people here in Belgium. Some are really confident we're gonna have a matchup against Holland in the Semi's, and boy would that be the game of the century for this country :D

Yesterday was one of the best games this "golden generation" had played. Without Howard we'd have made a couple of more goals. Really hope Hazard will play a lil more aggressive, cause I don't really like this passive Hazard :D
