I gotta make one of the Turks a moderator here. So he will back me up with everything, too. ;)

It's a discussion site man.

Anyway, I hope to be at the Wales game in Bordeaux next week. Email me if you are there and maybe we can meet up and I can check if you're a crazy man or not. :D

If we agreed more I would back you up more. :D But that's fine, disagreements are commonplace with sports fandom.

I'm not backing him up because he's English, I honestly think he's right on this one. Posting Vardy in an Arsenal shirt is maybe a bit on the nose, but it's interesting to hear other perspectives, even if it's just a hypothetical scenario.

Not sure about Vardy, was looking for a more proven track record, but I won't deny that he showed capabilities last season.

Im not a big soccer fan, but I know enough to say that you will never win another major title with Wenger.....The ambition is not there.

In regards to Vardy....Most of his goals come off the counter....not Arsenal's style....

If I were Arsenal, I would go hard after Lukaku

what are your thoughts Arsenal supporters?

we desperately need goals so i'm okay with the signing but as I said already the success of his signing all depends on how Wenger uses him and the team sets up. Hopefully with an improved midfield this upcoming season ,life may become easier for our forwards

Vardy = Giroud

Everything is the same. Style, play, mentality, skills, talent. Another weird signing.

I'm on a Leicester forum called Foxestalk. The fans like usual are going wild. Having said that there are some really funny comments. Being as I posted a pic earlier here's another. Vardy after 3 months at Arsenal:

One relies on speed the other on standing and doing nothing. How are they remotely similar?

Also there's a rumor going around that Vardy ain't the only LCFC play they are signing

Agreed. I thought that DD12 was just trying to wind someone up, completely different attackers.

:D

Well if you can get Vardy, Mahrez, Kanté and Drinkwater you only need to sort out your defence to have a decent team. Seems that there maybe a lot of disgruntled Arsenal players in September.

If Vardy goes to Arsenal maybe Claudio will get Ox in part exchange. I wouldn't be unhappy with that.

Vardy is 29...Lukaku is 23....Lukaku has power and pace....Lukaku also has re-sale value....Vardy doesn't

If true, this is a very good sign, Vardy has the "hungry" a thing that lack in Arsenal enviroment (Ozil, Wenger, ecc...).
With a really strong CB (maybe even two) con compete with Mourinho's United, Guardiola's City and Conte's Chelsea.

They did that last year. Just not with Claudio's Leicester.

I'll take Vardy, but we need to get rid of Giroud. I am tired of Giroud. He is a colossal misfire on key moments.

We need another complimentary true striker to pair with Vardy...If only Lewandowski was open to come play for Arsenal

Its pretty rare to exchange players right? I'm willing to do that, (Take Walcott :D)

But its a very salty feeling if I was a LCFC fan and if all my stars went to Arsenal...I'd be happy with getting rid of a Vardy to pay and keep others and also bring in another young stud
