Eh, don't be so sure. I remember them celebrating Chelsea winning the CL in 2012 because it meant we didn't qualify.

Re: 2014
If we get blown out by mighty Sheffield United I'm going to take a dump on Levy's doorstep.

Looking forward to it. Sheffield United have been good against Premiership opposition lately, they've had some excellent cup runs over the years. Spurs will need to be on their toes. Can't see Liverpool beating Chelsea over two legs, but you never know, they have improved in form a bit lately.

Re: 2014
I'd ideally like to achieve all of those things, but winning trophies is the most important to me, even if the League Cup isn't the most lucrative title. Chelsea and City fans don't really seem to care about the domestic cups, everything except the league and CL is meaningless to them because they're dead inside, but we plied our trade as a domestic cup team around the turn of the millennium and I'd like to see that happen again.
Besides the glamour of actually being in the competition, CL qualification for a team like Spurs doesn't actually mean a great deal until it becomes a sustained thing. The unpredictable nature of the Premier League means that it's highly unlikely we'll become a perennial CL team, so it really would probably be a one season trade-off.
Don't get me wrong, our CL run in 2010/11 was brilliant and WHL has never had a better atmosphere, I'd just rather have something to show for it except big money sales to Madrid. Sustained CL qualifications allows us to be more equipped to compete with the biggest clubs in attracting more quality talent, but it all starts with winning the competitions that we're in and building up a bit of prestige. Of course, winning the EL grants us automatic qualification which would kill two birds with one stone.
Despite having played more games than anyone else in the PL, we're still in every competition. I think we've actually coped pretty well, we're showing signs of improvement.
