And from Madrid's match, what a weird fan:

I saw that too. Had to rewind and double-check.

Bizarre.

Ney made a fantastic season last year, easily Top 3 of the world if not better.
This year has been clearly the best and it seems to be the footballer which is going to dominate the football world the next seasons.
Cristiano in the other hand seems done, like Raul was at their moment. They could score goals because they have what is needed and play with great teamates. However, as a footballers they are no here anymore.
It's the pass of time. New is old, and newer becomes new.

Neymar had a great goal... props there..

RM just annoys me when they play like this... how they have no offensive rythem... beyond me.

Though the Sevilla keeper made an excellent save on Casemiro's header.

a game like this does not make me at ease for the Clasico.

You guys will get Navas back for Clasico, who to me is the best GK in the world right now in terms of form. I'd even say he's been Madrid's MVP this season. Also Rodriguez looked fantastic in his 27 minutes of play and I assume he'll be back and ready for a full 90 in the Clasico.

I find Benítez's strategy too conservative where it seems like you guys "shut down" after taking a one goal lead and sit back and try to grind out the victory instead of going for the kill. Maybe I'm wrong but from the Madrid games I see it feels like that along with some bizarre second halves.

We probably won't have Messi for the match and when it comes to the Clasico I always throw form out the window because these two teams stop at nothing to bring it for a game of this magnitude. Bale and Rodriguez are playing pretty well and again, with Navas back you guys will be a pain in the ass to score against. Our defense has been suspect this season and we all remember what happened last time Barca went to the Bernabeu .

I will definitely put Navas up there as MVP, faced tons of quality shots and made saves for the most including a couple of PKs....

Yea, its clear what Benetiz wants to be done but this is the wrong Madrid for it. You want to sit on a lead, go to AM where they are excellent in that style IMO. We don't have the defense for that IMO but our offensive attack seems dull and behind what they are capable of...

injuries aside, there's not enough of quality chances outside of set pieces or corners.

I see Neymar and Suarez having a good game in the attack. Give those the guys the ball in the 18 and that's trouble...

Even if Messi misses, I can see Real Madrid falling early unless Navas closes that possibility out!
