this competition all depends on draws , no one really takes it too serious in the early rounds so if you get championship or lower league competition early you'll be in the semis. If you get Premier league competition right off the bat there's a good chance you're done.

It's at the Lane. I just can't believe it, though. Chelsea drew Walsall...

5-0 to Arsenal while they play their B team and we run our starters out for a full 90.

Enough about teams who didn't play yesterday. :-)

Leicester beat Bury 4-0 having changed the entire team from last Saturday. Joe Dodoo hits a hat-trick on his debut. He's fast and knows how to hit the target. FYI Schlupp did the same in his debut again in the league cup a few years ago.

Kanté looked a gem.

Christ, don't remind me of that. Harry put out one of the worst Spurs teams in recent memory that match. Pletikosa, Naughton, Livermore, Bassong, Bentley... Don't think I ever forgave him for that. Shambolic to not put out your best team in the NLD regardless of the competition, it's disrespectful to the fans.

I'm not as nervous as I normally am for the NLD. I think the Palace win settled the nerves a lot.

Both teams with plenty to prove, though.

it's a must for me to watch this video before every NLD. I've made it a ritual. Helps ease the nerves
