Who's beating Belgium? Hard to start against Italy though.

Kompany to miss the tournament for Belgium, while Italy will be without their best two CMs Marchisio and Verratti

I think we're going to play like this:

Courtois
Alderweirld - Denayer - Lombaerts (or Vermaelen when fit) - Vertonghen
Witsel - Nainggolan
Carrasco - De Bruyne - Hazard
Lukaku
West-Flemish for behinners:

    - Dust means thirsty.

Seems like a waste to play Alderweireld and Vertonghen at full back, although I know they're passable slotting in there. It's just they've been excellent as a CB partnership for Spurs. Does the Belgium squad really lack for 'true' fullbacks?

Also, Dembele should start over Witsel. :D

Hey, not a big Football fan here. What do you think, is Belgium a good sporting bet with 10 to 1 odds? Do you consider Belgium a contender, what are their chances? My knowledge is very limited, I just know Belgium has some good young talent, thats it. Want to put my money on some team to make Euro more interesting.

I also prefer them in the central defence, but I think Wilmots will play them like that. I think we can switch Toby and Denayer, but Wilmots is very high on Vermaelen. Thomas played well against the Swiss and looks fit. Let's hope he stays fit for a change.

We don't have standout full backs, although I was impressed with Jordan Lukaku against the Swiss. Ciman on the right is just to slow and Meunier is injured at this moment.

I think we're a dark horse, but certainly not big favorites.

I think this is the hardest group.

As for Belgium's chances of winning, I think they are the dark dogs alongside Portugal.

The favorites have to be France and Germany, followed by Spain and then Belgium/Portugal.

I don't see England nor Italy doing well, Italy is in the middle of a strange period and are missing two of their top 5 players from midfield. (arguably the most important part of the pitch)

10 to 1 is not a good odd. Belgium is a good team but with four/five other teams more likely to win they should have at least a 18-20 to 1 odds.

It's a real life football manager game.

Belgium are just bottlers. They've been ever since May 18, 1940.
Dirk Nowitzki, Steve Nash, Kevin Garnett, Toni Kroos, Pep Guardiola, Ernst Happel, Joachim Löw.

Yes, I'm sure that Nazi military victories in Belgium during the war have a great deal of influence on their 21st century football teams. Stop trying to stir ****.

Belgium losing to Norway after drawing against Finland.

And people still think these bottlers have a chance of winning the tournament.

De Bruyne seems the biggest bust in recent era.

Dude is horrible.
