I'm not as knowledgeable about Spanish football as I am about German and English football. So does anyone here know what will be Spain's line up for the Euros? Will Del Bosque go ultra conservative again as he always does or will the media pressure put pressure on him to make changes?

Spain is going to screw up and maybe even go out in the group stage.

Bad locker room situation between Barsa and Madrid players thanks to Piques smartmouth remarks on sotial media.
Del bosque not having the balls to remove the old and worn up sacred cows starting with Casillas.
Probable lockeroom trouble betweem Madrid and Atleti Players after CL Final.
Add that many player swill be worn out because of league being un resolved till the very end + three spanish teams in the European finals.
3/4 of the back four line are underperforming this year too, Specially Alba and Ramos....

I expect Del bosque to go full COnservative and go with:

Starters:

-----------------------------------------------------Casillas----------------------------------------------------
-JUanfran-------------------Ramos-------------------------Pique----------------------Alba-------------
--------------------------------------------BUsquets---------------------------------------------------
-------------------Iniesta----------------------------------------------Koke---------------------------
---Pedro---------------------------------Costa--------------------------------------Silva-----------

Back Ups:

De GEa / Sergio Rico
Gaspar/Azpilicueta /Nacho/ Bartra
San Jose/ Mata/Cesc
Alcacer/Morata/Cazorla

IMO he should call up these people instead:

Asenjo ----------Casillas
Bellerin----------Azpilicueta
Gaya-------------Gaspar
Jonny Castro----Nacho
Camacho---------San Jose
Iñigo Martinez-----Bartra
Torres--------------Costa
Nolito--------------CAzorla
Saul----------------CEsc
Lucas Alvarez------Pedro

And should swap the tiki taka for a CHolo Simeone like 4-4-2
but he does not have the balls to do so.

So you dont think arguably the best GK in the world is good enough to be in Spain's squad? Laughable.

De Gea. I watch both leagues and he has been better than Neuer the last 18 months.

I hope Croatia can advance, but it is probably not going to happen.
Turkey is a black cat for us. I still cannot force myself to watch the 2008 highlights. I tried once in 2012 and still felt pain in my chest.
The Czechs are our regular customers and we are individually better, but what they did in the qualifiers was really impressive.
Spain....that is one guarantied loss.

I really have no faith in this team. The coach is just an anonymous puppet that is assigned on the position because he is good with the big boss in Croatian football and already he got in a fight with Lovren who he kicked out of the squad. The players themselves say that the atmosphere is really bad around the team, most of the fans started hating the NT in recent years and basically half of the country is actively rooting against them (they tried their best to get the team kicked off the Euro).
It's a real shame what is going on in Croatian football. We have a great generation again, which will probably go to the waste without achieving anything significant.

Why do people hate the team?

Rakitic, Kovacic, Modric...some great talent there

It's not the players that they hate but rather the corrupt men in suits running the football federation. That's what has soured Croatians on their national team, and that corruption is a real shame.

Bosnia had the same problem years ago, and it really is a difficult situation for a fanbase of the team. In fact, our corrupt FA actually cost us Zlatan Ibrahimovic (who wanted to play for Bosnia) at one point.

Goalkeepers: Danijel Subašić (Monaco), Lovre Kalinić (Hajduk Split), Ivan Vargić (Rijeka), Dominik Livaković (NK Zagreb).

Defenders: Darijo Srna (Shakhtar Donetsk), Vedran Ćorluka (Lokomotiv Moskva), Domagoj Vida (Dynamo Kyiv), Ivan Strinić (Napoli), Gordon Schildenfeld (Dinamo Zagreb), Šime Vrsaljko (Sassuolo), Tin Jedvaj (Bayer Leverkusen), Duje Ćaleta-Car (Salzburg).

Midfielders: Luka Modrić (Real Madrid), Ivan Rakitić (Barcelona), Ivan Perišić (Internazionale Milano), Mateo Kovačić (Real Madrid), Milan Badelj (Fiorentina), Marcelo Brozović (Internazionale Milano), Alen Halilović (Barcelona), Domagoj Antolić (Dinamo Zagreb), Marko Rog (Dinamo Zagreb), Ante Ćorić (Dinamo Zagreb).

Forwards: Mario Mandžukić (Juventus), Nikola Kalinić (Fiorentina), Andrej Kramarić (Hoffenheim), Marko Pjaca (Dinamo Zagreb), Duje Čop (Málaga).

On paper this squad looks really good.
Subasic is one of the top GK in France and in his goalkeeping prime.

Srna and Corluka are proven veterans playing for decent clubs, Vrsaljko and Jedvaj have bright careers in front of them. Lovren is missing and will not go to the Euro because of the coach.

The midfield is crazy with Modric, Rakitic, Perisic, Kovacic, Badelj, Brozovic in their best years and tons of young talent in Halilovic, Rog and Coric.

Forwards also look good. After Mandzukic and Kalinc there is a sharp drop in quality (Kramaric, Cop),but still even they are decent strikers. There is one top prospect in here too -Pjaca, but he got a nasty injury few months ago.

I'm from the ex-Yugo region as well and Croats(media, fans) always bang on about how strong the midfield is but fact is that those players never perform that well for the national team. Modric-Rakitic is the same problem England had with Gerrard-Lampard back in the day. Mainly because of bad coaching(Stimac and now Cacic are awful, Kovac is a decent motivator, but average when it comes to tactics.)

And Modric will probably be tired again after a CL winning season(maybe) like he was 2 years ago in Brazil. Rakitic has been a huge disappointment for the national team for years.

I'm very impressed with Perisic though. The guy always gives 100% and scores important goals.

The midfield is really strong on paper. One of the strongest in the world and they are not the problem. This team without Modric playing looks like ****. The problem is coaching which has been awful since Bilic left and the team itself as a whole. Guys look good on paper, but are regular underperformers. Add to that the bad atmosphere around the team and you have a paper giant which Croatia is right now.

So at last we get to see the likely champions --------Turkey ---------------- play.

I'm looking forward to this game.

Hoping that Kramaric starts for Croatia.
