Men in Blazers noted that there isn't the same level of outrage against Saudi Arabia getting awarded the WC as there was when Qatar got it years ago.

Qatar basically has beaten down the opposition to FIFA's corruption. They got away with the Qatar WC so people don't have the energy to muster outrage about the Saudi WC.

Now, the other thing is, Saudi also wants the Women's WC in 2035. They haven't even fielded a women's team yet, not surprising since women only got to drive in the last few years.

So a culture which is notoriously bad for women's rights is going to host the Women's WC. That's next-level trolling.
