I thought we could have a thread where we could show our favorite goals, dribbles, mixes, whatever.

My first one is not well known, it's from the '66 World Cup, Hungary vs Brazil.

my favourite player of all time, Dennis Bergkamp : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3CqR6h8pxOo

opening sequence alone is worth watching (or better : listening)

a true artist with the ball and all that without being all that athletic or agile. Just knew how to touch the ball to make it do what he wanted.

Goals at 0:40, 2:12, 2:50 just :o

Ultimate ownage from Nery Alberto Castillo:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XBOpX0ruBUw

You can not forget the greatest football upset in football history. :D
Greece taking Euro 2004 at 150 to 1 odds.
Keep in mind going into the tourney. We had not scored a goal, let alone won a match, in a major tournament in our country's history.
Once Karagounis got the goal in the opening match, we rolled from there.
It still took the Vryzas goal in the Russia match for us to only lose 2-1 for us to move past Spain by goal differential.
We went through France, the Czechs, and Portugal (twice) to shock the world.
I will never stop enjoying Cristiano Ronaldo crying.
Best 4th of July ever.
And of course, Adidas can thank us for creating their slogan of:
"IMPOSSIBLE IS NOTHING"
The France Quarterfinal was the pinnacle game for us as we took down the champs. It told the world that we were not there to just celebrate.
It's also our most beautiful goal ever with Zagorakis' magical run, perfect cross to Charisteas who stumped the defense and drilled the ball home:

It was also a tournament where a few goals game from our 1st corner kicks of matches, see the Final:

Greatest upset ever... pfhhh
In 1954, the German squad was thinking about skiping the WC in Switzerland to save the traveling expenses and avoid humiliation. In the days of Alfredo Di Stefano and Just Fontaine, their best players were (partly) paid in potatoes.
Going into the tournament, they got obliterated 8-3 by the Mighty Magyars, a team that was unbeaten for more than 4 years and would only loose one single game between 1952 and 1956...the final against Germany.

I won't argue about the quality of that team... there are rumors that they were doped, they had their share of luck.
But this is, by far, the greatest upset ever! Imagine todays afghan Basketball team beating the '92 Dreamteam at the Olympics. Something like that just doesn't happen... but somehow, it happened after all.

From the first game of the 49-ers, by the most underrated player of the past decade imo.

I love those crossbar-goalline bouncy ones, but I like this one even more, maybe because it looks more powerful.
