Because all this 'continuity' bullcrap is just delaying the inevitable. Another utter failure that awaits us is going to force things - even if Ishbia stays delusional, guys will ask for trades and start to make ultimatums with preferred destinations and he'll have no cap space to sign a mere ballboy, let alone a 'quality vet piece'. Better to have a guy already in place, to adjust to new surroundings and gain experience.

Gambo was talking about having 1-3 people to interview and it would probably be announced next week
Flex mentioned billups and even Gambo did but he is under contract

The Suns had basically one person on their list since it wasn't Tyronn Lue

For me it is a good move. Players didn't trust Frank anymore (or never did?) and Mike is a local one and did great in ATL and MIL. I just hope the team becomes one again and plays a kind of Basketball you can look at. Thats all I want. I have trust in him.

As Dave Burns said yesterday -- the end result will be how they do in the playoffs - if they get there. But even before the playoffs- will they "pass the eye test."

Meaning - will they play better basketball as a team. Have a semblance of continuity.

I think Bud's a better coach than Vogel, but this doesn't change much for us in the grand scheme of things. Coaching can't fix a unbalanced roster. Hopefully we'll shoot more 3s though.

Do we know who Bud wants on his staff? Hopefully that is quickly decided.

We need to focus on the bench and a point guard. Definitely glad we resolved the coaching issue.

Wouldn't exactly call Bud a defensive minded coach. He's a lot more complex bball mind. But still doomed to fail here, as things are.
