That falls right in line with what John Canzano reported about Wade and Bosh.

Wade - $12M
Bosh - $11M
Lebron (if he signs) - $23M

The issue with Suns is...

If they cannot land a marquee FA... They end up using a chunk of that free space resigning Bledsoe and possibly Tucker.

They will have what? Around half that amount next season.... And then Dragic is due.

So suns end up using up cap space retaining players as opposed to adding talent.

Hence they really do need a plan b,c,d and f.

Maxing out Hayward and hoping Jazz pass on is in one of those plans.... Maybe Monroe or another one also.

Atleast this way Suns have assets acquisition instead of asset retention with their cap space.
If it doesn't work out ... You can ship off assets.

But coming out with no acquisition when you have 35+ million cap space could be an incredibly wasted opportunity to add talent.... Because suns can always resign their own players over the cap.

OK, so it's about what we figured. They can maybe get one really good guy, or two guys that won't add much. But it doesn't seem like people really are rushing to get there and join them. Players on other teams may just be tired of them too.

With $12 million, they can easily afford Lowry or Deng.

And if they get neither of guys, still plenty of money to get Carter, Marion and Gasol.

It looks like LBJ might stay in Miami afterall... The Suns FO are trying to confirm it. If it's true, the suns 2nd option is as follow;

Pau Gasol
**Sorry - Hayword- RFA
Lou Deng
resign Bledsoe
Reign Tucker

Why is Bosh taking less than Wade? Boy they have really bad agents.

There is just no way that Lebron will leave now. He gets his max while his teammates take enormous pay cuts. He also has a cakewalk to the finals in the East every year. The Suns should just move on because this almost appears pointless. Go after Gasol and let him teach Plumlee and Len for a couple years while our other young players develop.

If people though lebron was actually leaving Miami.. :banghead:
You don't have wade, bosh,Haslem opt out and lose money for nothing..

I never once believed it. Like I've been saying we have a real shot at melo/love but don't know if melo is interested

A's over Royals. Lester and experience will prove that he's worth the trade.

Tigers winning it all. Tigers are, imo, peaking at the right time.

But seriously, LeBron cannot possibly think that a team of him, over-the-hill Carter, broken Wade, Bosh, soft (and often injured) Gasol, and Marion (no harsh remarks for him - still my favorite player) is better than Bledsoe-Dragic-Melo-him-Plumlee. Can he?

The Suns second option is Kevin Love, in my opinion.

Ew is right. Signing Deng so why would you need tucker. Unless he is willing to get paid minimum.

I think it is probably moreso because he does not want to play in the West. There are so many good teams whereas there are virtually no good teams in the East. The team with best record in the East last year was destroyed by the Suns, and the Suns did not even make the playoffs in the West.

I don't think we will even give Pau a phone call. It just makes no sense. McDonough is smarter than that IMO.

I hate literally every word in this post.

Also read the suns are aggressively trying to resign Frye.

Simply asking: what could "$12+ million" get them?

Ray Allen, Vince carter, etc.... You know young talent that lebron wants to be surrounded by
