Haven't checked forums for a while, and happy to see that the possibility of landing LMA has this place drooling with good Karma.

Scrolled through these pages and overall positivity and quality of posts is 1000x better than a few weeks ago.

Keep up the good job!

we've basically **** an offseason improved Len out of a starting spot he already won just so some 33 year old can win us a couple more games when the result is still somewhat of a mediocre team

McD took a big risk and if it doesn't work out I would hate every minute that Chandler plays on the court and keeps Len from in-game development, that guy needs more than 30 minutes and needs to finish games

****. At least that motherfoooker Mook is off the team and Warren finally gets his minutes. Thought that was never going to happen

This was my first reaction to the chandler signing too. But after thinking on it I want to see what the plan is if the don't land lma before judging the offseason.

I'll be super pissed if they bring in additional old vets who need playing time. Short of some surprise move where we land a ypung impact forward I'd prefer we just fill in the back end of the roster with low price young guys and roll with the rotation below.

Knight and Bledsoe play all the pg mins.

Knight Archie and booker play all the sg mins. (Archie need to play this season because they need to know what they have in him)

Warren and tucker split the sf and play 5-10 mins as a small ball 4.

Keif plays 32 or so mins at the 4 and never as the 5. Len plays 10 mins at pf in a big lineup with chandler and the other backup 4 mins are played by our sfs.

Chandler plays about 28 mins a game to stay fresh and Len plays the other 20 (and some at pf)

That would be a fun rotation to watch and would give our young guys proper development minutes. And hell Bledsoe and knight really mesh and the young guys play well it might be a playoff team that could be attrictive to a star in 2016 who thinks he's the missing piece.

That's my optimistic look at what could happen.

You make some good points, and I've waffled a lot too

It's just that I had a feeling that after putting all that weight and work in the summer that Len would come in and really start showing people how good he is

Imagine that he comes in with a much more consistent 15 footer, some post moves, and a little more awareness

If so, that guy deserves to start. While Chandler will probably be the better defensive player this year, Len's potential is so much higher. And if he brings that next season, nothing Chandler shows could warrant keeping that on the bench

Obviously we have to wait and see though. However at the end of the day, both Len and Chandler will be on our roster, and that issue isn't going to be addressed through another signing.

I've been thinking that if Len comes out with a decent 3pt. shot, which I think is totally possible because he has really great form and release on all his shots, it would be interesting for him/Chandler to play together. But considering that Horny liked to go super **** small at the end of games last year with Keiff at center, I don't think he's the type of coach to go big like that.

Either way I don't like Len at PF much at all, I don't want the guy and his ankles running around chasing 4's

Len should start, but he won't, but also remember he is very injury prone. We need another guy there. This could be a perfect fix to let us know if he can stay healthy, and if he can, I'm sure he will start soon. I'm sure he will get plenty of minutes. If we get Aldridge, Len is the perfect backup on a really good team. If not, Len will probably work his way into starting. We now have young guys at 1 (two of them), 2 (two of them), 3, and 5. Kieff is young at 4 if we miss on Aldridge. I really like where we are.

yeah I worry the suns won't try the big lineup with chandler and len together and len ends up playing 18 mins a game... that would suck.

You're right that we don't want len chasing 4s around but I think paired with chandler it would be chandler guarding the 4s. He's quick enough to do it for short stretches. On offense len would be the 4 and play the high post with chandler playing the 5 on o. I think len has a good enough shot to make that work. Of course you wouldn't want the two playing together heavy minutes but it could work in short stretches and be effective.

Adrian Wojnarowski has reported the Suns and Spurs are the front runners. There have been other reports saying he will think about his options the next couple of days before he decides. For whatever reason, people are posting pictures of a meeting with Popovich, and now a video of them walking together into a parking garage across the street from Spago Restaurant in Beverly Hills where they probably ate at. So because they were walking together back to a garage where I am assuming everyone is parked, that means it is over and he is going to San Antonio? I cannot take this anymore. Fans need to relax and stop overreacting to all the stupid, beyond irrelevant garbage that is posted on twitter.

What's Pop holding in his hand? Some sort of Chloroform rag? Win him over with Chloroform Pop!

Wonder why Suns aren't doing second meeting? Ryan must be confident in where we stand with LA.

Well I don't care much about the fact that Aldridge walked out of the restaurant and across the street with Pop. I didn't expect him to tell him to **** off.

Hopefully the force is about to awaken. viewtopic.php?f=27&t=1394401&start=460#start_here

Still sucks to see him meeting with the Spurs for a second time. They are now the last team (that we know about) to talk to him before he makes his decision. Would have been nice if that were the Suns.

Maybe we don't want to come off as too needy or whatever? I guess since Pop asked for the meeting, there was a bit of concern from his side (okay, that's my opinion), but it's still annoying that LMA met with him. It's like seeing your crush go to lunch with another guy. It doesn't mean she hates you or doesn't want to be with you, just means that some other guy is trying hard to court her and she's willing to see what he has to offer. Sucks.

I see it as the opposite. this was an "emergency meeting" if you will. Clearly the suns made a good impression.

Well earlier it was mentioned he may make other trips to places. I don't think second meetings and begging is too appealing. You have to be confident with what you laid out. At least that's the way it works with chicks. Maybe Aldridge wants people to beg.

Aldridge likes free food and wine. Hell If I was an NBA player Ild meet with as many teams as possible to get fed. Ild even meet with the 76-ers
