I think you guys need to consider what really was working for Phnx last yr....I see a lot of Zone D, may be multiple kinds.... and a hockey line sub pattern. We are not but 1 good PF away from a solid 10 man rotation.

5 in, 5 out. No egos stepped on. Keep playing if you are winning. Its a long season.

I really like that team.

That's a deal I'd hate to make but I would. It would solve our biggest glaring weakness and seriously make us a contender.

That would toughen us up considerable - I worry about Al but the combo of Brewer and he is one we couldn't say no to, I don't think.

And no, no way they deal Rubio - except if Kahn has a crazy spell, which is not that unlikely. He is The Master of Chaos, for sure.

But damn - add Brewer in there and I like it. Adds toughness inside, boards, fuels the running game and gives us an offensive post presence to go with RoLo, so both lineups have that. And i could see occasions where they both play the same time

I would love to see a hockey line switch in the NBA. :D Zone defense will still work great for this team, with the new not so great defenders coming in to this team.

- Exactly. That was a big part fo the success last year, platooning a whole new lineup at the other guys. Really messed teams up, and we are poised to do it even more-so this coming year.
These are some good moves, I think

and Hedo is not going to be unmoveable - his stats go back up playing here and he will be attractive to a lot of teams.

+1

With how athletic this current roster is, we'll do great with lots of running, high energy and hustle, and probably lots of zone defense. the hockey line sub pattern in my opinion might be a new pattern we see, much like SSOL came about. It worked pretty well last year, so well that when Lopez was hurt, we used :o Collins :o as a starter just to keep that sub pattern working.

Basically, they'll have Hedo at the 4 now with the same starting unit (probably lots of zone defense), and then upgraded barbosa into Childress and Lou into Warrick (or even Lawal).

Adding someone like Al Jefferson would throw all of this out the window... it makes no sense in my mind. I think we're done with any big trades, and i think our team is actually going to be pretty good again. I can't wait!
