I'm not sold on him either. If we get him at 18 or 27, I wouldn't mind, but no way am I trading up to grab him or using 14 to get him.
SHAZAM!

Suns traded Mikal Bridges, Cam Johnson, Jae Crowder and 4 1st round picks and a swap so some Vegas Bookies would like us.

oh yeah its full fledged lying season right now. GMs floating smoke screens to beat writers and agents talking about "promises" trying to drive up interest in their guys.

Hell even sweet deck chair on the Titanic moves like the one the Knicks and Dallas are doing.

Going to be a fun 36 hours.

I mean, you don't have to trust rumors, but outright disregarding them isn't smart either. Many times these whispers prove true. It's hard to plan every move in secret.

Well, they whisper all the scenarios. So it is normal to see some true information. But the problem is, you just can't know which one is true.

True.

Suns add Hood and LaVine to EJ's conversation on suns.com. That's LaVine, Hood, Young, and Warren so far.

So chances are Suns move the 27tg pick but keep the first two?

If we draft Hood/Young at 14, I really don't care who they draft at 18. Successful draft IMO.

I'm open to them, but I'd be disappointed. Of course, the benefit of the doubt would be tendered.

Stop that BS about trading Dragic. I personally think he's a better pg than Bledsoe, heck i think hes 3x better player than Bledsoe period!
Let bledsoe walk (sign & trade for a good proven veteran or veteran and future pick)
Draft Lavine at 14 and Anderson at 18....and call it a day.

Edit: Can we trade Bledsoe?

Sign and trade we can.

People only talk about trading Dragic because he's already said he's opting out next year as he should. And it goes back to Bledsoe right now. Is he worth the max? Except the max for Dragic is what, $20mil a year? Some team will give it to him. Maybe he cares about winning and not the money and he goes to NYK or Spurs or whoever. IDK. But how much do you think he asks for and he gets if he plays the way he did last year. He's going on 30, and has a couple good years left. Last thing you want to do is paying Dragic $18 million per when he's 34.

That's why people are willing to take Bledsoe. First year starting and he put up incredible numbers. Yes he was hurt, but I don't see it being a constant issue. You don't pass on a young talented player that often or you better be getting a nice haul back.

Some team will make Dragic a $20 million dollar offer? :o No. Way. In. Hell does that happen. I'll bet a night with Kerrsed's $3 hooker on it not happening  .

No team is giving Dragic a max deal. As much as I love me some Dragic, you would have to be absolutely insane to offer that kind of deal.

Lakers think they are better looking then they are. So let them think they have a chance at Lebron.

Basically people can do commentary throughout the day, maybe we can have a mock draft comp etc and it will be more of a live chat rather than this draft thread (which is close to hitting 100 pages anyway!)

Im down. Ive already made a suggestion to Kerrsed Via PM about the live draft thread. I would really be happy if people didnt post tweets about who's we're going to pick before Silver reads the name out. Kinda ruins the moment.........

I think the only move that would really piss me off tomorrow would be trading any of the picks (even 27) for a vet role player. That's a move you only make if you are capped out and can't sign one and if you are one guy away from being a true contender... the suns are neither.

It would also be the ultimate treadmill type move since they acquired these extra picks by trading vet role players so why turn around and reverse the process. Just take a damn draft and stash guy at 27 if they are worried about having too many young guys on the roster.

I've liked every McD move so far hope I feel that way after tomorrow.
