In the words of aIvin, this thread sucks.

Too early to say anything meaningful.

Yes, we definitely have beat the Dragic topic to death. I thought this was a little different take on it, but when it resorts to people starting to call others out, that is just leading us right back to things we've beat to death. I think everyone's thoughts about his departure have been well documented so no need to try and bait people into arguments about what we've already discussed. Whether or not Dragic regrets it at this point is pretty irrelevant, but you have my answer about whether or not he does earlier.

i really do think that what Dragic said before he was traded was agent speak. i don't think he hated the city, the roster, or even the FO. i think he just wanted his money.

i've been hearing Knight rumors for up to a year before we traded him. it made perfect sense to make that swap. a 28 year old Bled and a 31 year old Dragic, only three years from now, does not a contender make. doesn't matter who you add to that.

it's funny - Gerald is probably taking the shots Dragic needs to take! i love that Miami team, because it's got our imprint all over it. the question is, how do they make those pieces work, offensively and defensively, in ways we couldn't? what do you do with a 30 year old Dragic and a 34 year old Wade, both on max deals? (Wade, by the way, is only on a 1 year deal. he could bolt.....maybe, if he feels he isn't getting paid enough.)

i never thought the Heat were a legit contender. never. the pace difference between Dragic and Wade couldn't be bigger.....i never knew how they were going to incorporate Mr. Fast Break into one of the 5 slowest teams in the league. but, i'm happy for Goran, Gerald, and Amar'e.

unfortunately, you reap what you sow. Goran disrespected the FO. maybe there's a better fit out there, but for right now, he's just gotta make it work with Wade. don't think it'll happen this year, though

F*** Goran. He was never good enough for this board to still be talking about him. He's dead to me, just like when Steve Nash signed with the Lakers.

Miamis experiment is not going to work, Goran is an All Star under his circumstances, not with a slow pace, two bigs and a ball dominant SG plus a SF that cant really shoot.
It boggles me why Miami traded for him and give him a massive deal if their plan was still sticking with Wade as a defacto ballhandler and playing absurdly slow and stagnant offensively, they could have just kept Norris Cole and Chalmers for that.

Dragic got fooled by his agents.
They talked about him being a poor man Steph Curry but no one in this league would give this role for him.

Now he's even more irrelevant in MIA offense and people are starting to calling him out.
This is a bad trend for him. At least he got the money he wanted.

This has run its course I think. Let's keep talk about past players in the Around the NBA thread.
