Why I’m asking , because I can understand to a degree Durant trade or Nurkic trade , what I don’t understand is the Beal trade , it’s not really about what you gave up , I just don’t think Beal is the missing part on a contender

Yeah, our previous GM was still here with the Mikal one, and James Jones was also brought in and signed off on everything. Jones did make the Cam trade, also getting Saric, for a higher pick who ended up being Jarret Culver, so that was good.

But aside from that, he's either traded first rounders (one for Landry Shamet, last year's in the KD trade) or made bad picks, like taking Jalen Smith over Tyrese Haliburton.
