:lol:

its 9am here where I am, just openned firefox realgm suns forum... saw this post, and its a good laugh to start the day.

yup... Spurs, are arguably geniuses when it comes to drafts, they somehow draft really good role players or stars or semi-stars out of nowhere... no hype to little hype etc.

Imagine them getting into top 10.... they must see something really really good in the top 10, to offer Parker who is a 20/7 type of PG in his prime.

Kanter.... I think they are eying Kanter... or Kawhi..... who ever they are drafting, keep your eyes open.

I'd say they want Kawhi. Just a gut feeling.

thats a great point. talking to my friend the other day when the Gasol for Love #2 rumour was flying around and i told him, "I would rather the Suns trade Gortat /13 for Pekovic#2" then the Lakers get Love AND Williams

Sad that the spite against certain teams is more then making the Suns better

its tactical though... you dont want a team in your conference, in particular a HUGE franchise like the Lakers to re-tool..... they've dominated the last 2-3 seasons and with that move they can continue on to dominate the Pacific.... Lakers will always have an upper hand when obtaining franchise players, they are willing to take big money, they can afford to lose money... they use off-court benefits to lure stars....

Hence, yup, I would do a lunch-cut / c*ck block to them if they try to prevent them from getting stronger.. again.

BobbieL wrote:Not sure how reliable Andy Katz is but since its not Chad Ford - here is the scoop on the Spurs:

• San Antonio has offered George Hill to at least one team in the late lottery in an attempt to get into the first 14 picks if it can’t move Tony Parker to Sacramento or Toronto for a spot in the top 10. The Spurs obviously can only move one of the two points -- if at all -- and are attempting to include Richard Jefferson in the deal.

Late lottery pick, say number 13. I'll throw out a trade that Popovich would never accept

Hill and Jefferson for 13, Childress and Warrick

I would do #13 for Hill. Then we wouldn't have to worry about the SG and C because we have our future SG in Hill and future C in Gortat.

Hill is 6'2... not SG... as Nash is even taller than him.

And Jefferson is crazy NOT the SF I envision the Suns chasing.... stay away from Jefferson.

@AlexKennedyNBA
The Magic, Timberwolves and Knicks are among the teams that have called the Suns about Steve Nash, but Phoenix insists they won't trade him.

@AlexKennedyNBA
Sources in Phoenix have made it very clear that Nash isn't going anywhere as long as he's happy. If he says he wants out, things change.

Recently I was watching a playoff game between the Suns and Lakers back in 07 and before the game L.B and Nash were hugging and L.B was way taller than Nash. BTW L.B is also 6'3"

Big day tomorrow, feel like a kid going to sleep waiting for Santa Claus....only problem is, I've peeked in my presents and instead of that Daisy bb gun I'm getting underwear and socks.

Robin Lopez might be heading to NY... Trying to get more details

*** the Knicks are trying to get a third team involved since the Knicks don't want to give up Landy Fields.

If I hear anything else, I'll come back.

Third team sounds nice. None of the Knicks players that we could trade for intrigue me.

Stockton is 5'11 without shoes, around 6'0.5 with shoes, hence 6'1 listed height

Nash is about 6'1 without shoes.... around 6'2 to 6'2.5 with shoes.... 6'3 is about right.

And they LOOK small on the court, since they are next to 6'6+ guys all day.... in the club or in public, Nash will strike you as above avergae height for sure.
