I would do that deal in a heartbeat if I were Minnesota.

They could have the most exciting young roster in the league.

Pekovic, Dieng, Lavine, Wiggins, Bennett, Muhammad, Rubio. With several first round picks in their future.

That is a team I could follow.

If this deal does go down, I think Minnesota will be the out right winner in the end.

Agreed. Minnesota gets a great deal but if LeBron wants to contend right now, then it would be the right move for the Cavs to get love and be the title favorites. I hope they don't make it to the finals though, I'm so tired of him. Especially because he didn't come to the Suns. :banghead:

If the deal does come down like I suggest and Love gets hurt or does not blend well with the other talent on that roster everything could implode very quickly. I actually would love to see that happen, not the injury. How will Lebron explain the failure if that in fact does happen.

Other than the Suns. My favorite team is whoever is playing the Cavaliers.

I would find it pretty hilarious if Minny took Chicago's offer and McDermott got traded yet again. Being a good player yet get traded twice before you even play your first NBA game.

Yeah but I don't consider draft day trades all that significant to the players. There are a lot of guys who get traded on draft day and although he might become a good player there are many that became good yet were traded on draft day. AKA Bledsoe(thunder to clippers) and Kobe Bryant(bucks to lakers)

Byron Scott agrees to a 4-year contract to be the head coach of the Lakers. Who wants to bet he will be fired no later than a season and a half?

I'm a lousy psychic but I just don't see success in Byron's future. I really didn't think there was a worse decision he could have made than the one that involved him taking the Cavs job but this proves I was wrong.

LOL. I saw that. Half of me found it funny, the other half of me felt it disrespectful towards a Suns player and thus didn't want to like it.

A Minnesota sportswriter is saying that Minnesota is trying to do a 3 team deal with Cleveland and Philly to end up with Thaddeus Young, Wiggins and Bennett. Philly would get expirings from Cleveland and Minny along with picks.

Looking at the #s, it seems like it would have to be something like

Minnesota sends out Love and Barea and gets Wiggins, Bennett and Young

Cleveland sends out Wiggins, Bennett, John Lucas III, Brendan Haywood and two 2015 firsts (one they get from Memphis and one from Miami) and gets Love

Philly sends out Thaddeus Young and gets Barea, Haywood, John Lucas III and two 2015 firsts from Cleveland

That's a lot of first rounders for Love. Two overall #1 picks and probably two in the teens this next year.

If you're Cleveland do you do that if LeBron is pushing you to and it's the only way Minnesota would do the deal?

Speaking of summer league: Korver was sold to cover 2003 SL and a copier, by the Nets? :D

So I heard Cool Beas smoked out for L.A. today. I wonder how that went and what the brass thought of his lung capacity and how he'd be able to handle the media in more pending drug and sexual assault charges.

Worth taking a one year flier, I guess. He and Swaggy P really could go hard together.

I don't know why the Nuggets wouldn't be interested. A Beasley is totally legal in Colorado.

It's legal in the state but it's still a banned drug in the NBA. He'll either have to be super smart about it (...) or stay away from Colorado and avoid the temptation to blaze up a foot out the door from the arena.
