Serious question, who would take Durant over him at this point if we could have one of the two (assuming both are healthy)?

I would. Not that I think it's an obvious choice because I LOVE Westbrook, but because I think with our team right now, Durant could play 4 with Len, or imagine him at the 3 with Bledsoe/Knight/Durant/Kieff/Len

Now if it had to happen by trade, and they needed point guards back, and we had to give up Bledsoe and Knight, then maybe Westbrook.

But if you just simply plug a guy into the current team, Durant is the obvious choice.

Gotta think Rose is almost done with all these injuries.

I lost a finals bet (Spurs in 5 or less, I laughed when I took it, oh boy) last season against a friend of mine who is a Bulls fan and I suggested a 'Rose won't make it through the season' bet as a sure fire way to redeem myself - he wouldn't take it.
What I am saying is...wasn't it only a matter of 'when' and not 'if'?

I think the same things as well. While Rose seems to have toned down the athleticism a bit, I just don't think his body is made to undergo all of the different stress he puts it through. His body is rebelling and telling him to stop with all the sh*t he's doing to it.

It's definitely when, not if.

Good point, I actually have to agree with everything you said.
Should have been more specific though, I meant it more as a single player comparison or start your franchise/build around player.

It's very tough, and I generally like pass first point guards, so I would probably still lean Durant for a couple of reasons. It's much tougher these days to find a 6'10 guy that can score from anywhere and is good at doing other things, than a good point guard (since there are about 20-25 quality point guards in the league right now). And I think Durant could even be a lot better with a pass first point guard.

I think they are both top 5 players though. Maybe top 3. OKC is my second favorite team. I'd love for them to move up to 7th seed, and for GS to knock out SA in first round, and even though I also usually pull for Memphis in the playoffs, I'd pull for OKC to knock them out, and for OKC to play GS in WCF and prevail and beat whoever makes it from the east.

With Rose tearing his meniscus again I think that's the end of his career. What do you guys think?

I didn't know that, but yes. That contract has to be one of the worst ever, considering he pretty much sat out almost two seasons so far and is done again. Too bad after winning MVP, but for him, it's certainly good that he got that contract.

It's a damn shame. I love watching Rose when he's healthy. Hope the procedure is minor and he gets a shot at a ring.

I think he's got one more comeback left in him. He'll never return to his glory days but I think he'll come back again just to see if he can do it like Brandon Roy.

I'm not denying the greatness of his return vs Dallas, but I would hardly call that a return. Man just died to win the game for his team. Had no business playing. Rose shouldn't take that gamble.

I'm not saying he's going to come back and be back at the same level of this season, just saying it probably won't be the last time we see him on the court.

Isaiah Thomas had 19 pts, 7 asts, 6 rebounds today off the bench in a win. Celtics fans probably love him! Great contract too. Maybe it was Goran holding him back? Jk

25 FTA's in 3 games. I like watching him play when he's on the other team.

In all seriousness it was Tucker holding him back. Every time Thomas took a shot, Tucker would heckle him worst then a fan.

I just lol cause all you wanted a Isaiah Thomas as a mold for a 99 rating player you make on NBA 2k

He was a bench player who put up about 15-16 a game for 7 mill a year! He was a pure scorer who can take over a game!

I like what he is doing and glad that he is able to do what he does best!

Truth is Bledsoe isnt a true pg and doesn't compliment a Dragic or an undersized IT. We need a Ray Allen type or a Tony Allen type next too him for a fit!

What the Suns did was choose Bledsoe over dragic and made that the area of focus
