Does this poll give the option to change votes? Because this is a tough one and I might change my mind with a few more hours of thought.

Why now, he'd probably still be on the board at #28? 5' 9", 150 lb PGs are very unlikely to be lottery picks.

Just curious why you like him as much as you do. His draft range in mocks/big boards has been anywhere from like 15-45 so he just seems like a reach as well.

I'd also be a bit scared if Murray is our first pick for our two lottery picks to go for a 2/3 when those are our two best young players who likely have far higher ceilings than a Luwawu.

Chad Ford believes that he can be drafted by the Bulls at #14...

Best Case: No. 14 overall, Chicago Bulls. “I think he’s the best pure point guard in the draft, and his ability to see the floor and make teammates around him better is extremely appealing, as is his leadership.”

Worst Case: No. 25 overall, Los Angeles Clippers. “His size is a huge question mark and teams are going to have to talk themselves into taking a 5-10 point guard, and that is a scary proposition for all of them.”

I don't care about those projections and wouldn't even entertain Murray. Also low on Ellenson/Sabonis, and don't want to settle for slim picking at the 4 just to fill a need. Don't understand your aversion to depth just to clear more minutes for TJ/Book, somebody need to spell them . Luwawu could eventually be PJ's replacement, a versatile two-way wing who can potenntially guard three positions and be a pesky on ball perimeter defender, a Batum Lite. He also took a big leap going from French B League to the tougher Adriatic League and was Mega Leks leading scorer improving from beyond the arc (28% to 38%) and is a capable slasher who just need to tighten his handle and work on creating separation off the bounce, the ball slows him down a little.

Tough draw here..for me personally the most desirable options at 13 are Chriss, Davis, and Valentine, all of whom are gone.

I'm going Prince. Maybe he doesn't have the upside as a go to scorer. But he brings pretty much everything else you want out of a modern wing. Size, athleticism, defense, shooting. Sabonis/Ellenson a close 2nd

So far I'm the only one to make the correct choice.....

I have us taking Bender, Poeltl and Cornelie in my current mock. Brown at #12. D. Murray at #14. Chriss at #7.

Well in this "mock" scenario, we have Murray at 4. I originally was looking at Luwawu, Korkmaz and possibly even Dejounte Murray until I realized we had taken Jamal Murray with our first pick.

This post confuses me in multiple ways. You are not jdiddy doing a draft somewhere else and hacking cosmo's account are you?

What do you mean? You know I'm high on Ellenson.

That doesn't mean my mock is my dream scenario, just my best guess. I think there's a good chance that if Poeltl's available at #13, we'll get some pretty attractive trade offers. I think there's a chance we'd bite on Ulis at #13 as well, though I think if we want him, we'd feel confident trading down for him. Then again, maybe Poeltl slips in favor of Damion Jones. IDK. I see Brown and Poeltl slipping. Davis too. Then again, I've never been right about who does and doesn't slip.

I could also see us passing on Bender for Chriss. Givony wouldn't put him at #3 without good reason.

BTW - anyone a little surprised at how the fan mock is turning out? Labissiere to Utah? Brown to NOP? Davis to Milwaukee? All of them passing on Ellenson? I guess there are bound to be surprises.

I think I'd have to go Ellenson here. That's just a big slide and I understand why. He's not a sexy pick to fans or a flashy athlete but he's the smart pick here. He's a great rebounder with a great rebounder and is more athletic than people think. He's got a crafty midrange game and although he didn't shoot well from outside, has decent form, and is not a terrible free throw shooter, so I'd hope he could improve. But he also has the size to where he could play center.

Givony says
He's also extremely nimble and mobile, showing impressive fluidity and dexterity for a player his size.

Though looking at Luwawu I guess he has moved up in DX, and while I don't really want a wing at 4, I guess I could see him at 13, and reading about him on DX, I see that's where saintEscaton got his assessment. He has pretty good stats across the board, can shoot and can defend four positions or at least did in that league, but that's also where Jokic came from. It's hard to assess stats out of that league as I don't know how stiff the competition is, since it is an all under age 22 league, but I'd guess it's probably better than the PAC12, even though the PAC12 improved this year.

Just reading about him, I think I'd rather have him than Brown.

And since I'm not enamored with having an all white not really athletic frontcourt, maybe I will go with him.

I want to read a little more about Dejounte too, as I've read some scouts say he should be a lottery pick, and with Bledsoe injury prone, that might be more important than getting another wing.

I'm just kidding. I wasn't sure about what you meant with your current mock. I didn't realize you had done one....so when you added on the 3 players at the end I didn't know what you meant there either. Almost looked like you had us acquiring three more picks. I probably would have realized what you meant had it been in the normal draft thread, but then on top of what I mentioned, it being in this mock was kind of confusing too.
