Winnable game, we lost the game on that three point shot by Joe Johnson. Their veterans played a good game, they have a lot of savvy players with great size. But was Gobert the player of the game, OMG he just protects the rim like no one in the current NBA. Better than DeAndre or Drummond this season.

Didn't watch the full game but we've looked competitive and competent lately. I don't mind losing in this fashion because at least the games are somewhat entertaining for the most part.

Not sure if someone else posted this but...
Sixers won, and if the season ended today we'd have the 3rd worst record in the league.

Amazing stealth tank job by Watson. We're up by 5 or 6 with 4 minutes left and really need defense and he keeps Len and Bender on the bench.

I think Watson must be about to have a meet up with RealGM participants to tell us "Guys, I know Bender should be playing in crunch time, but the directive seems to be to compete hard and lose at the end in hopes to get a star in the draft, and clearly Chriss gives us the best chance to do that. Knight used to be our closer for this sort of thing, but he has become so unwatchable, we'd rather win than watch him play"

Gobert is too much for us. I don't think we'll ever beat the Jazz as long as he plays there. Utah is a good ass team.

Proud of the Suns again. Watson is doing a great job. Very happy the Suns hired him. Great game

Nobody thought it was strange that Dudley, Tyson and Knight weren't at the game? I thought for sure there was a trade.

There is no better learning tool than a mistake. Good for Chriss's long term development provided the coaches/leaders handle it right.

I definitely agree. Hate to say it but that's why I was happy Devin Booker went through those struggles this season. It's only going to get him better. Chriss will be better too. Suns have a bright future.

And lets not act like Chriss is the first guy to ever bite on a pump fake or get his shot blocked by the best rim protector in the game.

That would be really great. Even though I appreciate Chandler/Dudley.

Probably a trade was happening, and it fell thru last minute. IDK.

I didn't know they weren't there. Tyson supposedly had the flu or some kind of stomach virus. Dudley was out with "dizziness" according to the broadcast. Now if Knight were absent, that'd be a weird one since it is supposedly only his wrist, right?

I would be absolutely OK trading these three players for future picks and expirings.

We have too many players than can play. Bender and Chriss need to play more than 25 mpg for the rest of the season.

I just wish Watson would leave his Chriss fixation aside and play superior rookie in crucial moments. Overall I can't complain too much though, as all rookies have gotten some quality playing time lately.

To be fair he did play Bender in crunch time against the Spurs, although I agree I would have rather seen him than Chriss considering Chriss was on Gobert. Bender did make a couple mistakes in a row on defense rotations that gave up layups while he was in during the fourth quarter, so that also might have got him on the bench.

Tough situation.

We win last night and we are 3 games out of the playoffs.

But now that we lost, we are 2 games away from the #2 pick.

We really need to make up our minds. Try to catch Brooklen and Philly? Or try to catch Portland.

Basketball quality wise, the best Suns game of the season. I thought both teams executed well. Our switching defense coming along nicely. If Johnson doesn't hit that shot, we probably win it. Would have been a good confidence booster before a tough road trip.
