He doesn't look any part of 34 in these Bahamas games, guy is moving very spry especially considering he's just played a full NBA season.

Given he's also one of the best spot up shooters in the NBA, I'm really anticipating seeing how a Booker/Beal/Gordon/KD/Ayton lineup looks. You could even swap Ayton out for Bates Diop or Watanabe and slot KD in at the 5 for short spurts. Offensively that lineup will be insane, maybe historically insane if everything clicks.

We should trade him for TJ. If he can’t make three s he is useless.

Finally, Eric Gordon is here and shooting an absurd 44% fg. Can’t wait to watch what he does next.

Yeah, I've been happy with Eric Gordon so far. I've been happy with a lot of our guys, actually. Gordon's relatively low 3FG%, to me, has more to do with the difficulty of the shots he's taking and the volume of shots he's been forced to put up due to a lack of bodies. I don't know who expected prime EG to show up. I'm just happy to see he's still NBA-caliber, TBH.

EG's been fine. He will look better when the team is at full health.

Eric Gordon stats so far:

14.9 points, 3.1 assists and 1 steal in 31 minutes per game. 19.2 usage and only 1.5 TOs.

Shooting 47/40/79 with a high volume from three.

His defense has SUCKED but at least he ran back and committed a foul today instead of getting out of the way and giving up a dunk in transition today, which is the first time I have seen him do that this season.

He has been solid on defense. He knows how to stop bigger guys in the post or in the mid-range area and that is great for our defensive system because he can switch and somewhat contain big wings or PFs.

He can struggle to stay in front of fast ball handlers but all in all he is average on defense and with his nice skillset on offense that's good enough.

I knew Gordon would be important for this team but for some reason, I felt some of the other guys we got prior to him would be enough for depth for this team.
I was really wrong. Gordon is a guy who, while not regularly, can help carry us for spirts in the occasional game.

When we're missing 2 of the big 3, it's important to have a player like him. He's not perfect. He makes stupid fouls, giving up terrible 'and ones' at least once a game. But he's not being asked to be our star. He's doing exactly what we need from him.

He's really the only shot creator outside of the big 3 and has been huge carrying the scoring in some of our wins, really worked himself into the season now shooting over 40% from 3, only hope is that he doesn't have to average 30 mins all season.

Read on Twitter

After talking about wanting a bigger role and more touches on offense he has averaged 20.7 points per game with great percentages.

16/30 on threes in his last three games.

21 pts, 5 assists, 2 steals in 24 minutes against the Hawks. +17.

8-11 FG
4-6 3PT
1-1 FT

He was a key player to win this game. He looks fully healthy again.

0 points, 3 rebounds, 2assists in 20 minutes of play against the 76ers. Eric Gordon stunk it up badly before finally playing better against the measly Hawks.

Why not show when EG struggles instead of elevating him when he plays good once in a blue moon?
