If we play Twolves, followed by Nuggets followed by OKC/Mavs I think we could make the finals and make some serious noise. Celtics look dominant but they can’t defend 3 stars. All we gotta do is cover Brown, Tatum, Pornzingis, Jru and it’s a piece of cake.

This is sick. And I wonder what Lou Amundson is up to these days.

That's so gross

Didn't Shaq mess with Lou's bike that he rode in everyday as well?

Shaq and Lou used to pick on each other in fun (I remember Lou had filled his car with popcorn or something I think).

But this is obviously crossing the line in terms of not telling him that Shaq kept it in his junk.

Okay... but hold on. How did he go through shoot around with that under his nut sack? Like... that's pretty uncomfortable.

So the exact odds of who we play in the first round are mega complicated, and I’m a math guy. It’s probably something like this:

42.5% Twolves
42.5% Nuggets
10% OKC
5% miss playoffs

youre coming from a small marble bag perspective. Shaqs jewl bag is probably the size of a small backpack.

Good thing that 85% chance is what I prefer.

Preferring the defending champs instead of an inexperienced team is still odd to me despite regular season results. I also was preparing to get entertained with MVP vs runner-up MVP in 2nd round if Mavs get past Clippers. I guess that can still happen in WCF if we can't stop the Nuggets. At this point just happy we may get a chance.

Big part of it is recency bias. I haven't seen the Sun's come close to beating this iteration of the Thunder and that's not even considering the poor matchups that they are for us.

I'm not discounting how good and deserving the Nugs are to come the most likely to come out of the West, again recency bias, I've seen the Suns beat the Nuggets.

I'd clock their chances at beating the Wolves at like maybe 25% while beating any of those other teams in a series as a tiny number not worth mentioning. Dont think its gonna matter much...they're basically all bad matchups at full strength.

This would suck ass if Budenholzer gets hired by someone else. He’s the only one that I think can make something of this roster.

When the Suns lose in the 1st or 2nd rd this season after selling their soul to win a chip with zero assets and zero cap space, the best way forward will be to fire James Jones/Vogel and hire Bob Myers/Budenholzer.

It hasn’t been half of April yet but the 4th quarter woes has definitely improved. If this month went on longer we could possibly finish top 12 in 4th Q net rating.

Unfortunately incomplete passes and turnovers are killing this team.

I wonder how our first quarter net rating has changed by month. Probably the opposite.

It’s not just that the Suns beat the Nuggets. The matchup looks very good. They can’t guard our big 3 at all. That was true even last year with our big 2 in the playoffs. And our bigs, especially Nurk, has done a great job on Jokic. That type of thing isn’t just a fluke. Jokic literally did whatever he wanted last year in the playoffs, which is the biggest reason we lost.

It looks like the writing is on the wall for Young. It would explain why Booker is unhappy.

The problem is the defense doesnt hold up against good offense (which the Nuggets are) and while the offensive talent says they should do well, they constantly just devolve into isos and turnovers for long stretches while the defense cant keep them in it.

I hope Kevin young gets it. Gotta get a more savvy offensive coordinator. He’s not cutting it for me.

Yall clamoring about match ups should remember how dismal this team appeared not but a month or so ago. We are in the playoffs. Gotta take care of business now. We have three dangerous scorers who can get a bucket against just about anybody. No reason to fear anyone cause we have that proverbial punchers chance. Weve beat all those in front of us in the west

Dont care who we play.

What ? Me Worry ?
