They didn't have Porzingis either so I think this would have been a loss even with Booker.

Our rotation players just don't have it every night. When Grayson and Royce and bricking wide open 3's you don't have a chance against the best team in the NBA even if they're missing one of their big 3.

KD: 2-4
Book: 2-1
Beal: 0-0

Don't see how they reversed that out of bounds call on KD.That was the death nail.

Yeah I don’t feel confident in a 7 game series against BOS , even at full strength , there are 2-3 teams in the West I don’t think we beat either in 7 games at full strength , hope I’m wrong.

Absolutely.

We were 9/30 from three.

Royce O'Neale usually score better from distance, and with Book on the court you know that we would get more OPEN threes.

Challenges had a big impact on the game today. Vogel's been great with challenges all season so I won't blame him but he used it too early on a nothing call.

If he used it on that Jaylen Brown 3 we would have gotten the ball plus a technical FT for flopping, 4 point turnaround right there

The gap between Porzinigis and Booker is pretty wide, let's be honest.

Zingis is a good player, but it's not like the Celtics were missing Tatum out there. Missing Porzinigis is more like the suns missing Beal than the Suns missing Book.

I think of the top teams we match up the worst against Boston and the Clippers. The fact we weren't outclassed today at all was encouraging, i felt our starting 5 outplayed theirs but our bench minutes plus a few small things here and there lost us this one

Onto the next game!

Well they are deeper than us. So it hurts us more when we are missing our key guys.

The matchups I worry the most about for us are the Clippers and Celtics. But I don’t worry that much about eastern teams because only 1 can get there, and it’s more likely the Celtics don’t make the finals than they do, even if they are the best team. Obviously it’s unlikely we get there too but this is under the assumption we somehow do.

We probably played the 3 best teams in the league in the past 4 games. Won 1 and hung around the other two, without Book. And missing Book is massive considering who gets those minutes.

Maybe both teams will be at full strength in a few days. Celtics are just the better team though. Their pieces fit perfectly together. KP is pretty big for them and we still don't have a great chemistry between Big 3. We don't know what we are getting from Beal and KD when Book is playing. 14-9 during easy schedule is not that impressive.

One positive take away is that the Celtics are the best 4th quarter team in the league, and we managed to make a game out of it.

Our three point shooters missing open shots really bugged me. Especially Eric Gordon is who far too streaky for my liking. Can't really blame Grayson Allen for having an off shooting night after the stretch he's been on.

Maybe, but not by a huge margin. And again, if we somehow make the finals it’s more likely it would be against a different team. Just the odds.

Overall this was a good loss. The fact that it was even a close game at all is an accomplishment considering Suns aren’t even in the Celtics league. Probably would’ve been closer if Booker played but then who knows if Zinger played for Celtics.

Eubanks needs to be taken out of the rotation completely. Azubuike or Thad Young needs to take all his minutes.

I've said this before as well, but the 5th and 6th team in the west will likely be determined by the head to head match ups.

The suns still play the kings once and pelicans twice, winner will hold the tie breaker.

The kings and Mavericks are facing off against each other twice still.

Pelicans and Kings still face each other once.

If the Suns can take care of those games, then we'll be in good shape.

7th now and still with most difficult schedule in the league. Suns need to beat teams like Celtics to not be a play in team. Good losses won't do it. Simple as that. Let's start with Cavs.

Hopefully Nuggets in the first round. Beat their ass in 6, then everyone can stop slobbering over them.

Suns have an amazing record when they record 30+ assists a game everyone is getting involved ob offense. 21 assists like tonight is just not gonna cut it especially against a juggernaut team against the Celtics.
