Eubanks is Vogel’s Shamet. Pathetic that he doesn’t even try Thad Young over Eubanks sorry ass.

In the playoffs I’ll be surprised if Eubanks plays 5 min a game.

5 minutes of Eubanks in the playoffs is 6 minutes more than I'd like to see him play.

I agree though, I think Durant will play lots of small ball C with our second unit come playoff time.

Didn't get to watch this one but man does the bench production look bad on paper. And KD being 5th in minutes played per game in the league has me expect an injury report every day I check basketball news :-?

A win is a win, but with all of Big 3 playing and Cavs missing starters my hope was for a score like in Bulls Mavs game. DAL didn't play well lately so wanted to see them lose on the road to have a bit more breathing room in the standings.

P.S. Mavs play GSW next so at least one of those teams lose with Suns losing to BOS a likely scenario. Also looking forward to a very interesting Sunday night for EU fans with PHX - MIL and DEN - DAL early games.

Every win is a good and much needed win with so little opportunities left! I wish that we wouldn't have given so many games away early on putting us in our current situation. But these recent late season games are showing increasing moments of improving chemistry and periods of focus and better consistency. So there is hope to be had still on them trending in the right direction at thge right time if luck holds!

Sources are telling me Vogel was giving Eubanks a hot stone massage as he was saying this, adding that he has dreamy eyes and rosey cheeks.

I guess we'll just have to live with the fact that Drew is this year's Shamet.

If Isaiah Stewart could actually throw a half decent punch, then Eubanks would’ve been out with injury for several weeks/months and we could’ve have actually got a chance to see how Thad Young would look being in the rotation consistently as the backup big. His advanced numbers were pretty solid when he played in Toronto. He’s a veteran that can be relied on to play some spot minutes as backup 5 in the playoffs too.

Sadly injury is the only way Vogel will not play Eubanks.

Lol, no need to go there.

I am the first one that want Eubanks out of the main rotation but sometimes I have to recognize that Eubanks helps us with his mobility and activity around the rim.

Yesterday's game was a proof of that because he kept alive so many possessions and he did a good job blitzing and recovering on Garland's P&R.

Again...I would prefer to give his minutes to Thad Young but it's not always terrible with him on the court.

I did say “sadly” and I meant that. Drew seems like a nice guy off the court and a good teammate. (Sounds eerily similar to Shamet from last few years but yeah).

I don’t blame Eubanks, I blame Vogel.

He's also generally good on PnRs with KD while in the little time Thad got he had trouble finishing around the basket. I doubt Young is looking good in practices, maybe he's still learning the schemes and gains Vogel's trust at some point.

Really don't get it why we sign veterans like Young and they dn't get meaningful minutes over Eubanks.

On the positive note, I got my question asked on the Suns Jam Session Podcast in the 'Matthew I've got to ask' segment!

haha how do you get a question answered, other than luck

Just luck. I posted it in the chat as soon as the show started, and he must have already had a question in mind similar to it.
He's asked maybe one or 2 of my questions in the past couple of years (during later segments in the show).

Alternatively, you can throw them a few bucks and they will read your comment. I didn't do that here though.

Also, to clarify, I said I asked a question. I meant I vented but they read it.

So then even with Eubanks looking like trash, That isn't good enough to get minutes? That would be scary!

Who knows ? Many thought during offseason that Eubanks is good enough to start over Nurk and we were pretty happy with this signing when he looked great in preseason. Until we see Thad actually do well for us we can't expect much. Tough games ahead so Vogel probably doesn't want to mess with the chemistry at this point. If Drew keeps playing bad he may be forced to experiment though.
