G and A are talking their crap again. Saying Memphis turned down the Suns offer of Amare for Gay, Conley, Warrick and 1st rd pick. Saying the Suns want to lower their payroil so they can use the MLE this summer. They haven't said anything about the possible 3 way with Memphis and Miami (Amare to Miami, Beasley and filler to Memphis, Gay, Conley, Warrick here)

To be honest I like it a lot, but don't see POR doing it AT ALL with Oden there. Would need a 3rd team, perhaps CLE with expirings going to POR? Prz is a decent C who would fit perfect next to Amare

That is exactly whats been reported in this Memphis newspaper, Grizz rejected it.

Negative. They only have a roster of 12 right now. So if they did a 3 for 1, the roster would be 13.[/quote]

--- 12-1=11, plus one 3 is 14
Am I missing something? Like a draft pick that won't matter until next season?

I don't know, I think Por might like the idea of shaq mentoring Oden for a year and half, then he comes off their cap for 2010, Shaq is a huge upgrade from Prz, especially how he is playing this year.

It's nothing personal, but anyone can come on here and say "I know this guy who knows that guy" but until it's proven like DB for example, I can't do/help you as far as people doubting you/calling you out on your unnamed sources...

I know nothing's personal, and I completely understand your input. I can't do much right now but you'll be the first man to PM if anything else is constructed. If I'm even able to release it that is. You won't see me on here throwing anything else out for now unless something crazy happens and I am able to spill the beans.

I know the original trade between just Memphis and Us is dead. However, if you look at the end of the article it states "Several NBA insiders asserted that Phoenix and Miami would like Memphis to facilitate a deal that would send Stoudemire to South Beach. One scenario has the Griz possibly acquiring Heat rookie forward Michael Beasley in the three-way transaction." That's not the first time I've seen or heard of a possible 3-way between the 3 teams. Personally, i think Memphis may want Beasley and Marion instead of Amare, therefore may me down for the deal. Miami is rumored to NOT want Marion in a deal for Amare cause they want Marion for JO in Toronto.

The only people dumber than G&A are the people who ring up

"Rudy Gay's a superstar" who'll "average the same amount as rebounds as Amare"
